I LOVE this fondue pot!! I have owned several fondue pots over the last 20years and this is the best one yet!! It is so easy to use, easy to clean and stores nicely! I researched a lot before buying this fondue pot and I can say that its the best fondue pot out there. I have actually bought 3 of this fondue pot. My hubby and I loved it soo much that we bought it for a friends wedding who decided to have fondue for their reception. Everyone was asking where we bought, how much it was and saying how quick and easy it was to use! I think we made some sales that day! LOL.. I have 2 at home since we usually do a 3 course fondue night dinner.. The clean up on the pots is soo fast, just a little soap and a quick wipe gets rid of everything which means no scrubbing between courses!! The pot heats up amazingly fast!! I think it took less than 2 min. to heat up a FULL pot of Coq Au Vin sauce for cooking our meats/seafood. Infact it was soo fast that I didn't have time to do all my preparation I ususally do when I have to wait for the sterno to heat up my old fondue pot and had to have help. I love the fact that the pot has a wide mouth to it. It allows many fondue forks to be able to be sitting in the pot at once. I think we had 5 people in one pot at the wedding which is a lot considering each person had 2 forks in the pot at once. The temperature control is fantastic!! With so many sticks in the pot, we just turned up the temperature a little and there was no waiting to cook the food because the temperature had dropped, then you have to wait for it to heat up again. I no longer have burnt Cheese fondue because I couldn't control the heat on my sterno fondue pots. I like the fact that I have a good temperature on my chocolate and it doesn't sear half of your tastebuds off because its just too hot. Oh, and I didn't mention... you can put it in the dishwasher!!!!! SOO easy. I like to wash by hand but the hubby is all about the dishwasher cleaning it. Not that it matters because everything comes off of the inside soooo easily. The only disappointment I had was the short cord, but it really wasn't a big deal since we just plugged it into an extension cord. Overall I would totally recommend this pot to someone who is wanting a great fondue pot, or someone who is scared to take the plunge for an electric fondue pot.. TOTALLY WORTH THE MONEY!!!

Bought this so we could do something a little different for Valentine's Day! When I brought it out of the box, my hubby was like WHY did you buy this, when we have one in the cabinet (it was a candle/burner type one which is way to complicated for me to figure out, so it's just sat up there for 7 years unused) I said this one is electric, and looks A LOT nicer and easier...He gave up his argument for the sake of Valentine's...So..I win! hehe anyways...it was sooo easy and the directions were also very easy to follow...I did have to turn it down to a lower setting than what the instruction book said, but no biggie. The cord is short, Our first course (the CHEESE) I didn't have the extension cord, so we ate it right at our kitchen bar...While sitting there enjoying our delicious appetizer...my hubby said..."I now understand why you bought this...this looks so easy to set up and make, and this stuff is amazing! We're definitely gonna get some use out of this! " (hate to say I told ya so but.......) We were so stuffed after the 1st course, we decided to save the main course (filet mignon and potatoes) for another night, but we absolutely had enough room for dessert!! So a little while later, i started on the CHOCOLATE! Yum! We were at that point wanting to relax in the living room and he said...can't we have it in here...let's get and extension cord and see how it works....Found one..and worked like a charm...we had it on our living room ottoman... Other reviewers said they had problems with the magnetic cord being easy to come apart...but we had no problems...we even had dogs running all around the living room with toys and such..and nothing came unplugged! Needless to say, this was wonderful for Valentine's day, and I can't wait to use it for Date nights at home and hopefully gonna have a Fondue PARTY one day soon! If you're thinking about buying this, thin no more, and just do it! PS: Clean-up was a breeze!!

This was the perfect fondue pot for a great fondue dinner. We had six people over, and all 12 skewers fit well in the pot (without the rim). It worked beautifully and made hosting easy and enjoyable.

Good quality , keeps at the right temperature. Chords a little on the short side, but has the safety feature that it comes apart in case it gets bumped off the table

Well, I no longer need to go to the melting pot to have fondue. It’s a great little fondue pot very well-made and easy to use. It heats up quickly and has these little holders on the inside for the forks to set. I like that it is stainless steel and there is a dial on the plug so you choose what temperature you want. The chocolate fondue night that we had was amazing. I gave 4 out of 5 stars because what I didn’t like was how it’s not very easy to clean. The plugs on the side are removable, but they’re bulky and it’s difficult to get it clean. I’s a good size so it’s easy to store underneath the counter when you’re not using it. I would recommend this fondue pot. It worked really well for us and I’m excited to use it again.

Let me say that this is my first electric fondue pot. I almost didn't purchase it because of some of the negative reviews. This pot is an awesome at-home fondue pot! It works exactly as described. The temperature control is terrific to have and no matter how high it gets set, nothing ever burns. We have done meat, "melting-pot" cheese and chocolate. All of it was fantastic! It cooks evenly and the pot is non- stick. It looks exactly like the picture on this site. One of the consumer reviews posted here was about the clean up required. This almost prevented me from purchasing this item. However, its non-stick. It is no more difficult to clean than any other non-stick pans you already have. In fact, I found it very easy to clean with a sponge and soft bristle scrub brush. I would recommend cleaning the pot as soon as you're completely done using it, as it will be easier to clean. If you let leftover cheese or chocolate sit there until the next day, no it won't be fun to clean just as your other dishes aren't. I think the pot is fantastic. I think I got it for an exceptional price and was not disappointed with one single thing. It takes up no more space in your cabinet than another pan, clean up was a breeze & we use this think at least once a week! My only advice: First time users: DO NOT make the "Classic Cheese Fondue" recipe in the recipe book! Its made with german cheeses, brandy & dry white wine and we found it utterly disgusting! Better to find your own recipes online than use the weird ones listed in the book. The chesses are super expensive and bitter tasting so our very first experience was disappointing. Give yourself a fantastic first experience with this pot by using the "Melting Pot Cheese Fondue" recipe online.

The product is useless is India as the voltage is 120v... they don't provide a converter and the converter is same price as the fondue so no worth it. We proceed with the return of the product, amazon pick it up and until know (6 months) they didn't give refund!
