TOP HEADWEARSolid Color Long Beanie

I ordered four Beanies from Gravity Trading and paid about four plus change for each with included free shipping. All arrived promptly in the same package, more quickly than I expected. They were of high quality, of medium weight, and fit my husband's and sons' heads (adult through eight years old). They were stretchy, held their shape well and laundered well (did not appear to shrink or pill, washed on cold, dried on low). The solid color beanies were all identical in length and size. We plan to have them wear them rolled up and there was plenty of material to do that. The camo beanie was significantly shorter than the others, but it still fit fine, too; there was just less of it to roll up but if you are trying to slouch this cap, the difference in length may make a difference. The camo print was only on the outside plus about an inch and a half on the inside so you could roll it up. Otherwise it was an army green on the inside. It did not appear that you would need to roll up any more than that to make it fit. These hats would work well for cold weather but not severely cold weather.

I ordered this in brown and it took several weeks to receive because it comes from China. When I received it I was surprised at how small the International Postal envelope because it was not very thick. I opened it and tried it on my head and it did fit me but with no extra material to spare. If you want it to cover your ears and you are a tall man it will make it with no room to spare. If you are out shoveling snow and moving around these caps ride up and you need extra to keep your ears covered in zero degree weather.Also the material is thin cotton polyester blend and there is no label on it to tell you how to wash it. I think it would be adequate to protect your ears in say 20 degree F weather but at ten degrees or less there is no way. If you buy these as I do to use for shoveling snow where you will be out in very cold weather for an hour or more there are better choices. I compared this to an old well made thinsulate ultra cap I have and the thinsulate material was 2 /12 times thicker and noticeably less porous. I think you can guess which cap I will use to shovel snow when it is 5 degrees out ???

I believe this is my first purchase from this vendor, I buy a couple of beanies each year to give me color options for matching winter wear. I should have thought harder about the name of this color before I bought it but I liked the look of this 'brown' beanie better than the brown option of another vendor I was looking at trying. "Cardinal" should have clued me in this was going to be a red color instead of a brown color, but I just didn't put two and two together. There's nothing wrong with this hat as far as size or fit goes, that's great. I'm just disappointed that the product photo makes this look like a nice chocolate color instead of the red that it truly is. For the cost there's not much sense in messing with a return, I'll just have another red beanie to use or give away. Will look to another seller for a 'brown' beanie, as the only other brown shade TopHeadwear shows available is a dark, almost black-brown.

2/2/16 UPDATE - Product & Quality are inconsistent. You may get a really good one and you may get one not so good. PLUS, It's a month long wait for delivery so by the time mine arrived I didn't need it because I was forced to purchase a few at Target since the winter months are half over.5/20/15. UPDATE - 2nd Order -DROPPING MY RATING 3 STARS because I ordered two more of these beannies and they were not the same as the original ones sent in my first order. Quality was inferior overall - slightly smaller, different stitching, thinner material, and not as good a fit.1st Order- I'm a 6'1" 220lb male with an average size mellon - I think. This beannie had the exact measurements I was hoping for to match up with my other beannies that fit well and also gave me a cool look. THEBEANNIE MEASURES 10" LONG UNFOLDED AND 6.5" WIDE. IT FITS PERFECT COVERING MY EARSAFTER I FOLD IT UP 3" GIVING ME A HEP LOOK AS I STROLL AROUND TOWN. Hope that helps some of you- good luck.

This is a quality made beanie but for some reason I wasn't happy with the fit. I thought I ordered one just like the one I had ordered a couple of weeks before. I guess I just wasn't paying attention to what I clicked. So I called Customer Service and talked to Christine. What a pleasure that was, talking to this special lady, and she was so helpful too. We talked about Options (yes, I had options) and I decided to give this one as a Gift and order the one I wanted to in the first place. It seems the only difference between the one I had and the one I ordered was they were made by different Companies.Thanks Gravity Trading and Christine, You are the BEST!!!

I like it for general use but when it does not fit tight enough for using at work. i like my knit cap with the brim the best. i was going to wear this type of knit cap because one of the QA supervisors at the plant told me I could not wear the knit cap with the brim. i had to take my favorite knit cap off until management searched the policy on head wear. i ordered this knit cap as a replacement just in case I could not wear my favorite cap anymore. Fortunately, I won my case. management discovered that there was NO rule that I could not wear a knit cap with a brim so I started wearing it again. I will continue to wear this one for some events.

I gave it 4 stars only because the color is a little different than the one in the photo. The one in the photo is more of a darkerMustard yellow which I wanted , the one I received is more of a brighter orange yellow .... Like the color of that japapense egg Gudetama. Lol. Oh well, it's still ok but ya knowI'm an artist and picky about colors and I can't be fooled even by the slightest shade orTone difference.

This is a good quality hat and the seller contact(Steve) is awesome.I had a problem with my order and he reached out about it and did a lot of work to figure out why the problem occurred and fully rectified it.Good hat,GREAT seller!

Bad quality. Not worth the minimal amount of money it costs. Better to just spend a couple extra bucks and buy yourself a proper quality toque
