Great compliment to the book!
My son loved these cookie cutters and had so much fun making and decorating his cookies. They are great quality and easy to clean.

Ninja Cookies!
We purchased these cookie molds for one of my children's karate classes. They were having a karate Christmas party and we decided to make some cookies in the shape of karate people; however, we were unable to locate any cookie cutter that straight up said karate in their title. After searching around for a period of time, we stumbled across these here of a "ninja" doing a front punch/lunge punch which was perfect to simulate what they do in class. We made the cookie dough, rolled it out, and used these cookie cutters to cut out the cookie shapes and bake them to perfection. Once they cooled off, we added in some detail with white and black frosting to create a karate uniform on the cookies and the class absolutely loved them. The cookie cutters are basically non stick, so clean up is very simple and if there is any stubborn remnants, just use a little dawn and a scrubby to get it off. I only give these a four star review out of five stars as I feel the material is a little under what I imagined it would be, not necessarily flimsy but not as sturdy as I would've hoped for. Great product though!DISCLAIMER:I take this very seriously, as I like many of you rely on these reviews when making purchases. Nothing has been asked of me other than to give an honest review of the product, and as you can see from my review history it has no effect on my opinion. As others have pointed out I would recommend that you don’t just look at the ratings on these reviews, focus on the reasoning behind the ratings as that will give you much more insight into the product. The reviewer may be looking at the product for an entirely different use or from an entirely different perspective than you are. Cheap plastic
They do the job but buyers should note that these are light plastic

Good for what I needed (one time use)
So, I agree with other reviewers that it would be nice if these were made of metal. If they were then maybe I would feel comfortable baking the cookies with them on. But I was still able to use these cookie cutters and get decent shapes. I just wiggled the cutters a bit so it cut through the dough. I found that sugar cookies using shortening not butter work well with these cutters. Butter based cookies tend to spread more. I think those would be hard to bake with if you were using these. Cookies that don't grow much in the oven would work well. The shapes can fatten after cooking. But sufficient detail can be added using food grade coloring markers (also sold on Amazon).

I've been using these cookie cutters for a decade
I've been using these cookie cutters since 2011 and they work just as well as they did when I first got them. Rating 4 out of 5 as I wish the plastic was a little firmer and the cutting edge a little sharper.

fun little cookie cutters
We love these cookie cutters. They are made of plastic, so they are a little more flexible than I was expecting but they do make ninjas. There is one spot between the arm and leg on one where the dough got stuck a lot, but it was manageable. The packaging suggests a way to decorate the shapes to look like cool ninjas but you can be a lot less detailed in your own cookie decorating. One thing to keep in mind if your dough is too thick when you cut it as it bakes the cookie spreads out and makes your ninja look rather chubby. I made these for work and people thought it was very creative and I'll definitely make them for my son's taekwondo tournament as they really are very unique as far as cookie cutter shapes go. If you like the idea, these cookie cutters seem pretty stable and affective and I recommend them.

Adorable!
I love these! They make cute cookies and the packaging was cute too. Make sure that you use a cookie recipe that doesn't expand. If your dough expands or puffs you wont have enough ninja detail to make these worthwhile. I used a googled recipe not the one on the package so I can't speak to how well that one works. I was expecting these to be metal and was pleasantly surprised that they were plastic since I usually manage to get my metal ones bent out of shape unless they're the really sturdy Wilton ones. I just bought these based on the picture and the price so the metal thing was just in my head, not anything misleading in the description. The plastic is sturdier than most of the other plastic cookie cutters I've used so I was really pleased. I added a little piece of extra dough to the ninja that's punching and not kicking so it would look like the front hand is holding light saber. Ninjas and Jedis! What could be better?

Ninjabread
My 10 year old daughter had a lot of fun decorating Ninjabread cookies. The cutters worked great. I'm not sure about the longevity of them, we'll see how well they hold up. They'd be much better if they were metal instead of plastic.

Not metal
I was disappointed in the value when the cookie cutters arrived as silver plastic. They cut ok, but not as easy as a metal cutter. Also, I highly doubt these will last very long. The actual cookies that we cut turned out great and I do have to praise the shape and proportions of cookie cutter design—everything baked up exactly as expected. I just think they were way too pricey for what they actually are.

Cute concept but...
If you have NO decorating skills like me, then the concept gets lost. Mine ended up looking like gingerbread men that had been run over by a car or in some type of horrible accident because my decorations looked more like they were in contorted poses and wrapped in bandages instead of ninja gear. I probably would have done better with the Walking GingerDead cutters. At least they were entertaining. Also, I agree that for the cost, they should be made of metal not plastic.

Wish they were metal
My son was calling gingerbread men "ninjabread men" so I figured we should get a set of ninja cookie cutters and make cookies. I genuinely thought these were metal and was kinda disappointed to find out that they were just plastic cutters. They're cute and functional, so I kept them and we made some cookies. They feel sturdy enough, and went through the dishwasher just fine.

Be aware - these are plastic
I bought these for a friend who collects cookie cutters but lives in a country where she could never find something like this. They're very cute, but I was surprised to see that they are plastic. They seem sturdy enough (I had to take them out of the package to mail them) but I was wrong in thinking they would be made of metal since they look metal in the photos (tricky) but are actually a gray/silvery looking plastic. I wouldn't put them in the diswasher, they'll need to be hand-washed. Otherwise, this is a cute gift for people who like weird cookie cutters, ninja's or both.

Pretty hilarious gift..
I got these as a joke to bring for a white elephant gift exchange this year because I thought they were really funny. It turns out they are a hot item. Everyone at the party tried to steal them. They are quite hilarious and make a really fun gift to someone who either bakes, or just like ninjas. One thing, I used them after the party with my friend who got them. You have to roll out the cookie dough extremely thin in order for them to come out. Our first few batches of cookies turned into big blobs. We got the hang of it though. I would recommend these to someone else.

Soooooo Fun!!
If you are a fan of Gingerbread Cookies... and a friend of Ninjas everywhere, you will really enjoy these Ninjabread Cookie Cutters! Gave them as a gift to my sister who has a 13 year old who LOVED making these. Decorate them any way you want, and of course eating them is half the battle! Also works with other flavors too. The cutters are made of a pretty sturdy plastic, so you won't have to worry about rust or their shapes distorting over time. I felt they were a little expensive for what they are, but with all the fun we had, it was worth it. Enjoy!

Wish they were metal
These are such cute cookie cutters - my son was in love with them the minute they came out of the box. We've made several batches with them. The two standing figures come out best - no matter what dough I use, the ninja that looks like he's flying through the air just never turns out for me. He's more of a ninja blob. The other two are great! My main reason for giving this set three stars instead of four or five is the cheap plastic. Why could they not make this set out of metal? The plastic is rather thick and doesn't cut cleanly. The area around the arms, especially for that troublesome flying ninja, always gets stuck between the layers of thick, dull plastic. They just don't cut well, and it's a bummer. Otherwise, it's a great set, and the ninja cookies are always a huge hit.
