the story is classic and Ladybird books are as always unique in terms of illustration.this is testimonial of an era that without these books would be as good as lost.

Good read
Our son really enjoyed listening to this classic story. It's a shame these books are quite hard to get hold of, as I'd love to read more of these original stories to my children, some books are too wordy for younger children but this is the right length and pitch for our 6-year-old.
