It's quite a thin tin material, then again I'm used to plastic bins. I really like the fact it's off the floor via legs. Its a better height for me personally along with press button soft open. It's great that it has a filter box in the lid for to secure air freshener. It also secures the bin liner. It's a good large bin that looks really stylish.

This 8 gallon tall trash can is excellent and a very good buy for the price. I say that because it has all the best features and perfect size for what I need from a bathroom trash bin. It operates quietly, which is great for my light sleepers, looks amazing with the stainless steel finish I selected, and the protective coating really does not show fingerprints. I especially like that solid plastic internal liner is easily removed to take the bag out and keep the inside clean. The only caution I have would be sure to get appropriately sized trash liners that are slightly more than 25" tall chamber size.
