Very happy with this brand! Hypochlorous acid has many uses and I'm happy to get it for a great price. Yes it has a faint bleach smell rhat quickly dissipates. That's what Hypochlorous acid smells like.

I have used other brands of hypochlorous acid sprays for my skin (either to freshen up or for skin cuts - does not burn!) and never had an issues with them so I ordered this since I'm running low on my other one. I like that there aren't much ingredients and works like it's supposed to for me at least. It does have a faint bleach smell but that's how hypochlorous acid smells like. I also prefer products that don't have a scent and this one does not have any fragrance added to it. For $12.99, I feel it's very reasonable for the amount you're getting. I just can't find an expiration date for the bottle and I think when it's in a bottle, it does have a time limit to its potency.

I have rosacea, and this was another reminder that not all skincare works for everyone, even ingredients that are often recommended for sensitive skin. Before using this, my skin was fairly calm with maybe one or two small pustules and minimal redness. After I started using it, my face became noticeably more flushed and felt very tight and dry, especially under my eyes where my skin is thinner and more sensitive. That area looked more dehydrated and emphasized fine lines. By the second day, I still had more redness than usual, some itchiness, and increased dryness. I also noticed more pustules than I had prior to using it. To be clear, it didn’t sting or burn, so in that sense it felt gentle. But my skin definitely reacted to it. I’ve tried hypochlorous acid once before with a different brand and had a similar experience. I wanted to give it another chance with this one, but it seems my skin just doesn’t tolerate hypochlorous acid well, even though it’s often recommended for rosacea. I did try it on a couple of small pimples on my body, and it actually worked well there. It helped calm them down, clear them up, and the skin felt noticeably smooth afterward consistent use. So while my facial skin didn’t tolerate it well, it does seem effective on less sensitive areas. I won’t rate this poorly based solely on my skin’s reaction since that can be very individual. I may use it on other areas of the body that aren’t affected by rosacea. The spray itself dispenses in a fine, even mist and absorbs quickly. One thing to mention: when it arrived, the outside of the sealed package and bottle had a strong, unpleasant odor and a powdery residue. I had to wash the bottle off. Once cleaned, I didn’t notice any odor from the actual spray. Overall, if your skin tolerates hypochlorous acid, this may work well for you. Just keep in mind that even ingredients considered gentle can trigger reactions depending on your skin type and sensitivity.

This is a great little skin refresher for when my face is getting a little sweaty but I’m not quite ready to wash it yet. It’s effective in removing any sweat or dirt and then I can continue my activity until I am ready to wash my face and do my skincare routine. I also use tretinoin so I’m really sensitive to most products now but this one has not caused any irritation for me so far. No heavy fragrance either which is a plus. The bottle is big so I can see it lasting a really long time. I also will use it for my kids scrapes and cuts as it is quick and easy and gentle on their skin.
