The tire covers are doing a great job in keeping the dirt/sand away from the car. Also they are easy to put on and remove. And they look great. Review: Great protection - These are great - fit 27.5 x 3in tires easily. I use them with the studded tires to protect the car, floor etc

Did not use but seemed good
They were good for their purpose but as I didn’t use them I cannot really say how well they actually worked. I tried to get these to cover my tires as my bike is stored inside my apartment with my cats and I wanted to protect the tires- for this purpose they were not thick enough to make my tires safe from cat nails!

Easy to install– even with fenders
I use these to prevent my studded winter tires from gouging and scratching everything they come in contact with. There is no need to remove the wheels. Just attach the end with the Velcro strap to the wheel, then stretch out the cover while rotating the wheel. These will fit under fenders as long as you have a bit of clearance. They will not fit rim-brake bikes – unless you are using cantilever style brakes and can disconnect the cable from the brake arms. Carbide studs can be pretty destructive and after several weeks of use, some abrasion on the inside of the covers is visible. But the material is pretty tough and I expect they should survive several seasons with these wheels. With regular rubber tires, they should last much longer. Getting these back into the supplied stuff-sack can be tricky. The best way I found is to tightly roll one of the covers, then roll the second one around it. When rolling, stretch out the cover so that you get a smooth roll without bunching. Then it will slide easily back into the bag.

Functional Covers, but Price and Storage Bag Hold Them Back
I tried these Granite Crust Bike Tire Covers to help keep dirt and grit off the floors of my van and home when transporting or moving my gravel bike. The material feels durable yet lightweight, and the covers are straightforward to install. You attach the Velcro at one end, rotate the wheel while stretching the cover around the tire, and secure the two ends together. My first installation took about a minute, and the second took roughly 30 seconds once I had the process down. These covers worked well on my 700×32c tires, and the product description indicates they can fit tires up to 3 inches wide—which seems reasonable. After installation, I was able to roll my bike around indoors without leaving marks or debris. However, these covers are not suitable for bikes with caliper brakes; the fabric will bunch at the brake caliper. They should work fine on disc and cantilever brake setups. The included storage bag is my main frustration. It is noticeably smaller than it needs to be, and returning the covers to the bag takes more time than installing them on the wheels. A slightly larger bag would make storage significantly easier and the bag would still be smaller than a loaf of bread. I deducted one star for the undersized storage bag and another for the price point (around $40 at the time of review). The covers do solve a real problem, but the value feels high compared with simpler solutions I’ve used, such as placing a blanket on the floor of my van.

Just Like My Old School Tire Covers.
For anyone who rode or raced in the 70s these are the modern version of those tire covers. They are cut wider for mountain bike tires and they use velcro instead of metal hooks on the spokes. The covers fit my 650B tiires with room to spare and they would also fit 29ers with ease. They may be a little tight on 26x4 wheels. The fabric and stitching are good quality. I carry 2 sets of wheels on trips. One for dirt and one for pavement. These will be great to keep dirt and mud out of my car.

Easily fits a 29" wheel
My son routinely removes his bike tires to transport his 29" mountain bike in his SUV to trails for trail riding. By definition some of the trails will be muddy, as he crosses wet spots and small streams. It is always a chore to get the tires brushed off enough so he does not leave mud in the vehicle. That is why I was so pleased to see these tire covers. To be honest, I had never heard of these before, but once I saw them, I recognized they would be a great gift for him. They fit the 29" wheels perfectly, and i am sure they would also work well for smaller tires. They stretch a lot, so you can position them around the tire, and then close them up with the velcro straps that are sewed on to the covers. The set of two comes in a small container bag. Restuffing the covers into the bag reminded me of camping--where you have to work and work to get the tent back into the bag. I eventually did get the covers into the bag, but it took a bit of work. I do like how compact the bag is once it the covers are stuffed in, however. This makes the bag easy to keep in the SUV. A great purchase if you need to transport bikes!

A Simple and Thoughtful Way to Keep Bikes Welcome Indoors
As I make more of an effort to use my bike for transportation, I keep discovering small but important challenges that come with bringing it into more places. Riding instead of driving is better for my health and better for the environment, but there are moments when leaving a bike outside is not practical. At the same time, rolling muddy tires through someone else’s home or business is never a great first impression. These bike tire covers solve that problem in a way that feels practical and considerate. The idea is straightforward and effective. When not in use, the covers bundle down small enough to live in a handlebar bag without taking up meaningful space. That convenience makes a big difference, because it means they are actually there when you need them rather than left behind at home. When the situation calls for it, they come out quickly and wrap around the tires, creating a clean barrier between the bike and the floor. Using them is simple, but it does reward a bit of patience. Taking the time to properly align and secure the ends ensures they stay in place while rolling the bike. When done carefully, they work exactly as intended, allowing the bike to be moved indoors without leaving tracks behind. Once secured, they provide a clean and discreet solution that feels far more polite than trying to balance or carry a bike through a doorway. The material feels well suited to the task. It is flexible enough to wrap around tires easily while still feeling durable and capable of handling damp or dirty rubber. After use, they can be removed, folded back up, and stored without fuss. They are easy to clean if needed and do not feel like something that requires special care. What I appreciate most is how this product addresses a problem I did not fully anticipate until I started biking more regularly. It removes friction in situations where biking intersects with shared or indoor spaces. That makes it easier to choose the bike more often, knowing there is a respectful way to handle the transition from outdoors to indoors. These covers are not flashy, but they are quietly useful. They solve a very specific issue and do so without adding complexity or bulk. For anyone who brings a bike into homes, offices, or other indoor environments, they offer a thoughtful and portable solution. Overall, these bike tire covers deliver practical value and convenience with minimal effort. Used with a little care, they do exactly what they promise and make bike friendly choices easier to live with. They earn a solid four star rating for being a smart answer to a real world problem.
