Double male NPT reducer. Quality stainless steel construction with clearly etched sizing information. This adapted my 3/4” service at the wall to my 1” water softener connections. No leaks on pressure application with proper thread sealant or teflon tape applied. Threaded easily. Very durable.

They look great. Be aware that the threads are [extremely] sharp and less malleable than brass fittings. Use heavy-duty teflon tape to ensure no leaks.

These are exactly what I ordered. Threads are clean and sharp. Perfect match to the other fitting I used.

These stainless steel reducers are very well built. The thickness of them indicates that they are schedule 40 which should be good for most people. Checked the threads against other fittings and it screwed in nicely. This will allow a nice, tight seal and easy installation. The size and grade of Stainless (304) is clearly written on the side of the flat and very legible. The only downside is I could not confirm if these were lead-free or acceptable to use with potable water. There are no markings that would indicate these are NSF 61 or anything like that. Still a quality fitting though.

Bought the 1" to 3/4" adapters from them and am proud to report that the tapered threads perfectly matched the NPT standard. Previously, I had problems with numerous other sellers here on Amazon (Taisher to name one of the larger ones) in achieving a leak-proof connections due to the tapered thread angle being too shallow. I'm heading on the road to my rental 300 mi away to install a water softener and didn't want to run into problems and delays. Neither Home Depot nor Lowe's sell stainless steel fittings like this. I will use these couplings to connect to a stainless bypass valve on a softener and needed stainless coupling to bridge over to the normal type of 3/4" corrugated flex connectors. These fittings worked perfectly! Only had to use 5-6 turns of teflon tape and some plumbers paste and tightnen them per the best practices, and sure-enough, I had a perfect, leak-proof seal, right the first time! Definitely recommend this company and hope they grow their product offerings and give Taishler's a run for market dominance here on Amazon!

will not seal in brass or Stainless fittings with thread tape - must use thread paste and tape.
