I’ll start with the packaging. It comes in a colorful tube that feels like premium stock, with the artwork featured right on it. Once opened, you’ll find a travel pouch that also looks and feels like solid quality. The mat itself is vibrant, detailed, and clearly crafted with care—it really gives off a top-tier feel. That said, the price point is more in line with lower-quality items, which makes this an even better value. I definitely plan on picking up more from Foxtrot Designs!

My son is a big fan of magic the gathering and has quite the Matt collection. I picked up this fun one to add to his collection and he really liked it. This Matt has a lot of great things going for it and I would like to tell you what some of them are as well as one thing that could make this product better. The art on this Matt is really fun and it is definitely more premium Matt than a lot of the others you’re seeing in the market. You can tell this by the stitched edge on the edge of the mat. The play-mat also comes extremely well protected. It is in a plastic bag inside a very sturdy paper tube. This paper tube features the art of the play-mat which might seem like a small thing, but when you have a lot of mats, that means you can store it in the tube and easily be able to find it. Not having to go and spend another $10 on a storage tube is a huge plus for this product. Only have one small bit of constructive feedback and this is more of an idea for everyone. Because the tube is so well-made there’s a lot of suction/vacuum that happens. This means that it’s hard to get the end off the paper-tube and also hard to get it back on. We plan to solve this by just taking a very small drill, but I’m putting a hole or two at the bottom end of the tube to help with that suction to make the tube part a little bit more functional for long-term use. We’re hoping that this helps others and that you enjoy this play-mat as much as we do.

This product is so bright and vibrant to play with, i recommend for all samurai fans and the tree that is the focal point of the mat is beautifully drawn, product totally worth it. This is my first mat purchase and i'll use it until it wears out, the carrying case is perfect for it so all in all it's perfect, definitely buy if you like something beautiful.
