I have been reliably informed by my partner that this is most definitely an essential item for his Spring and Summer wardrobe. This review is for the Men's Dressing Gowns Waffle Robes Cotton Soft Luxury Bathrobe. I selected my usual medium size and the black colour. The fabric is lightweight, more of a post shower bath robe than one to snuggle up in on a cold night. The dressing gown looks rather fine with the white stripe running around the collar, cuffs and tops of the pockets. There is an internal tie as well as the belt. I thought the length was a little longer than I expected, at around mid-calf - I'm 5'8". What was a bigger problem was that the internal tie and belt loops on the side are positioned very high, significantly above the waist line. This means that when you tie the robe, the belt sits about half way between the bottom of the rib cage and belly button. It's not comfortable in this position. I measured the distance as 13cm from the bottom of the sleeve to the belt loops. The whole point of a dressing gown for me, is that it is comfortable. In this case the fabric and styling are great, but the positioning of the belt loops and internal tie are uncomfortable and not suited to the robe.
