I'm building out my tool bag and I hate handles. Flat out. I want a ONE ratcheting bit driver with a bunch of bits and NOT 10 different full size screwdrivers. Likewise, I don't want to have a file handle and a saw handle. Each handle past the first is a waste of space and weight. So when I stumbled across this I was stunned. I didn't believe I could securely hold files and recip saw blades. But this thing is amazing! It holds everything so tightly. They do not advertise this well, but this is the medium size handle and it will hold rat tail files, tapered files and triangle files securely. The large handle size does NOT hold files. This is the product you want! Great build quality and surprisingly firm control of blades. I cannot say enough good things about this handle. The blades that come with it seem fine, but I use higher end blades and files so I can't comment on these but they seem fine.

This (these) TOOLAN tool(s) are so functional. One handle... many blades. I was truly surprised at how securely the spring-loaded "jaws" hold the blades. And switching blades only takes a couple of seconds. TOOLAN sells several "sets" of tools with differing collections of blades and it is a wee bit confusing. Here's what you need to know... There are (at least) three variations of the handle, and it matters which one you have. The "Small" one will hold Needle files, Jigsaw Blades and 'X-Acto' style blades. -- It will NOT hold Recip blades, Hacksaw blades, or Full Size Files. The "Medium" will hold Full Size Files, Razor Saws, Hack Saw, and all Recip Blades. -- It will NOT hold Needle Files, Jigsaw Blades or 'X-Acto' style blades. The "Large" will hold Hack Saw, all Recip Blades, and Jigsaw Blades (in the side slots). It will hold 'X-Acto' style blades in the side slots, but they are kinda wonky. -- It will NOT hold Needle files, Full Size Files, or Razor Saws. Pick the one that best suits your needs or do like me and buy all three. This 5 Multi function Saw & File Set, Precision Razor, Drywall, 9 Inch Heavy Duty... is the "Medium" handle.

I bought this because of curiosity. I liked the idea of being able to have a hand saw with a variety of quick change blades. So far it seems to work really well. No issues.

Wow…very powerful tools. Hand saw has been amazing cutting through 1-2 in roots & tree branches. Would definitely buy again. Actually ordered a 2nd set!
