Saved me from having to buy a new ice maker!
This (3A 102 degrees Celsius) thermal fuse is used to sense the 'release' temp cycle on a Samsung refrigerator ice maker. Replacing this part saved me from having to buy a new icemaker. I removed the ice maker, removed and replaced the thermal fuse, and reinstalled the ice maker. This part and a little bit of time saved me over $125 and, more importantly, significantly reduced what I was adding to the waste stream. I didn't need 5 of them but now I have spares, if I ever need them.

Exact replacement in most cases.
I used this as a replacement for the most common “break temperature” rating for transformers that have an open internal thermal fuse because of overheating, due to a short, or overload. Most transformers have this fuse incorporated under the exterior “wrap” of the transformer. Carefully cut this wrap, on the side of the transformer that has ac input the leads going in. Do not damage this wrap! Once peeled back, you should see one of the input wires soldered directly to one of the wires of the bad thermal fuse. The fuse is tucked in or taped down to the transformer windings. Carefully remove the old fuse, preserving the original transformer wires. Solder the existing wires to the new fuse, trimming them to place the new fuse where the old fuse was. MAKE SURE TO CLIP A HEMOSTAT ON EACH LEAD BETWEEN THE SOLDER AREA AND THE THERMAL FUSE BEFORE SOLDERING, or the new fuse will be ruined. Insulate the exposed wires and place the cut wrap back in place. Use a nylon wire tie to secure the wrap. Remember, check the rating of the replacement fuse with the one that is being removed before starting. I would not have gone to this much effort, if the transformer was easily obtained. Observe all safety measures in place, and install the replacement part with the same protections.

Used for repairing a air fryer. It's been working like new for the last year.
