I use this jump box almost every day. It is awesome for thigh and bottom exercises. It is just as heavy duty as the ones at my gym. It has a non-skid surface on the top so I won’t fall over . This is the perfect addition to a home gym or exercise room. It does not slide around during use.

This jump box is really sturdy and it was extremely easy to assemble. It took less than 10 minutes. There are 12 bolts to install to put the top and bottom frames together via attaching the 4 corner posts. I did not use the 2 wrenches that are included and used power tools instead. Everything went together as expected and fit perfectly. The top piece has a non slip coating with small ridges to provide traction and some slight cushioning. The box has good weight to it and feels heavy duty. The height is not adjustable and this does not collapse or fold in any way. It provides a nice platform for a wide variety of exercises. My husband is around 180 lbs and it does not bow or buckle in any way when he jumps on it. It also didn't try to move or slide. The top is plenty big enough for both of his feet to fit on with room to spare. Really happy with this product!

This plyometric jump box by Rumoid looked like a great item–at least in theory. Unfortunately in practice it was a non-starter. First, the instructions were minimal and not very helpful. I have a lot of experience with the assembly of a wide variety of household products, so after a little thought I was able to figure out how it went together. There were 12 bolts and 12 nuts and 24 washers included. This is the exact number you need–there were no extras. Three of the bolts would not tighten–either because of bad threads on the bolts themselves or on the nuts. I used a 1/2" socket wrench, a large adjustable wrench and a lot of force to try to tighten them, but it wasn't happening. They remained loose. The other nine bolts installed with no issues–but only with the socket wrench and the adjustable wrench. The wrenches included with the box were not useful at all. Also, one of the rubber feet attached to the bottom of the box was missing. This made the entire unit unstable. The only quick fix would have been to tear off the other three feet, and then buy four new ones to replace them–something I was not willing to do. This would have been a good product without these manufacturing problems. Too bad.

This is heavy duty, easy to assemble. Works well, just the right height and holds a ton of weight.

This metal plyo box arrived flat-packed with all the parts and tools needed for basic assembly. It went together quickly and feels sturdy once built. The rubber top is a nice touch since it keeps footing secure, whether I am using it for workouts or just stepping up to reach something. It easily supports my weight without wobbling, and it has already found multiple uses in the garage. I use it for box jumps and step-ups, but it has also been surprisingly helpful as a step stool when loading my kayak onto the SUV roof. For the price, it is both versatile and built to last, which makes it an easy five stars.
