Excellent value wire mesh with small hexagonal holes for craft, garden, or other projects.
First of all, a comment about safety-of your fingers. The roll comes with plastic wrapping that twists all along the roll and takes forever to remove. Note that at the very last layer the plastic is wrapped under the wire so if you are not careful the cut end of the wire can poke your finger. Once the plastic is removed the roll will unroll somewhat so if you want it to stay tight you may want to tie up one or two ends before removing the very last layer of wrap. It is green PVC coated wire so it is a pretty green color that should blend nicely for floral projects or in the garden. It is a short roll, 15.7" so it is easy to use indoors and for small projects. I used wire snipers to cut it for my project, it was easy enough. This chicken wire was perfect for my first project, even though I have a garden and at first thought I was going to make a little fence to stop the rabbits from getting in, it is winter and Spring is a few months away. So I tackled a project I have had in mind for months. We have a sump pump in the basement and it is open to the room. Sometimes a frog or toad jumps out (since it connects to the tile and the ditch). Also, things always seem to roll into it or I am afraid to use that corner because I don't want objects to fall in. So I made a cover for it with this chicken wire and then used strong tape to adhere the wire to the concrete floor. I cut sections to fit around the pipes and wires, then tied the small flaps of wire fencingโslit but still attached to the main sectionโaround the pipes, so nothing could be pulled loose. In that experience I liked the flexibility of the wire. The hexagonal openings of the chicken wire are small enough that just my fingers fit through the holes so it should keep a little frog from jumping from the sump to the room and will catch anything larger that would fall in. If I wanted to make the holes even smaller I could cut an additional layer and place it on top, offset it in order to make the holes half the size, so this is very versatile wire. I definitely like the short roll and small size to make indoor projects.

Good Green PVC-Coated Chicken Wire
Good green PVC coated chicken wire Green PVC-Coated Chicken Wire Review: This is a bit more stiff and durable then the regular stuff and I don't necessarily think that the wire itself is thicker, it's probably just the PVC coating on there. But, as I said, it's not the sort that is super malleable, though it is perfectly malleable. I mean, I feel Less like it's going to end up in a crazy ball. I got this for my vegetable garden, so while the PVC coating is great against the weather, I don't really like putting plastics in the garden. However, I also really like getting to eat my vegetables and we've had terrible pest pressure, so I bought this to try and make little plant cages. (I'm trying all sorts of items to make little cages to protect the youngest plants out in the raised beds. Larger cages have turned out to be a little bit unwieldy for me and my current health status. Also with the larger ones, I worry about hinging them because I don't want metal to hit metal...poor health complicates things and makes everything harder than it should be.) The cages are very light but I have stakes/pins to hold them down. Careful you don't poke yourself with it. The size is pretty easy to work with. I've been working with some hardware cloth that's 4 ft across, thinking how helpful that would be for my larger beds. But they can also be difficult to work with, in a way, just because of size. I like that I can sit and just make small cages with this without a whole lot of clambering around. I'll include a couple of photos.

Versatile, sturdy wire with great quality for multiple uses
This chicken wire roll really exceeded my expectations in terms of quality and versatility. Even though itโs marketed mainly for floral arrangements and crafts, I found it to be very sturdy and well made, with a solid PVC coating that gives it a nice finish and extra durability. The green color blends in well for garden use and doesnโt look cheap or flimsy. The wire is easy to cut and shape, which makes it very convenient for different projects. Iโve used similar wire before, and this one feels more consistent and better coated, without sharp burrs that can make handling difficult. The hexagonal pattern holds its shape nicely, whether youโre forming it for crafts, plant protection, or light fencing needs. What I like most is how flexible yet strong it is. You can bend it without it collapsing or losing structure, which is important for both decorative and practical applications. The roll size looks smaller but actually is generous, and it unrolls cleanly without tangling. Overall, this is a very good-quality chicken wire for the price. Itโs reliable, easy to work with, and suitable for a wide range of uses beyond just floral arrangements. I would definitely recommend it for garden projects, crafts, or light poultry and plant protection.

Measures correctly, decent value. Coating is good but a bit thinner than some others.
This is coated wire that measures out and gets the job done but it is definitely coated on the thinner side compared to some other products. I find it a relatively good value, though, comparable to the market. If a lot of hand/skin contact is to be made with a product like this, use gloves or consider a vinyl-coated alternative. For PVC coated, though, this is a good product.

As good as chicken wire can be
The chicken wire (green, 15.7 x 236 inch) is strong and versatile for many uses around the home and garden. The 0.6 inch hexagonal design is perfect for keeping poultry safe, protecting plants, or completing craft projects. The galvanized PVC coating makes it durable and resistant to rust, so it lasts longer outside. The roll is easy to handle and shape, allowing you to create fences, cages, or plant protectors with minimal effort. This chicken wire is a practical choice for anyone needing a sturdy and reliable netting solution.

Quality chicken wire for a reasonable price
We have a homestead and are always needing chicken wire for something. Although this says it is for floral arrangements, which Iโm sure it would work for, we used it to put around the bottom of our greenhouse. The greenhouse sits on a gravel base, and rabbits have been digging in the gravel and burrowing under the greenhouse. We put this down around and into the gravel to stop this from happening. So far it is working well. The price is a great value for the size that comes, 15.7 x 157 inches. I like that it is green instead of the typical silver. The green color would be great if you are using it for floral arrangements. It was very easy to install.

It's a fine chicken wire
Plastic-coated wire is the way to go to prevent corrosion. This is a fine wire. Nothing special, but will probably last for a few years. I don't know if I would rely on this alone to keep predators out of chicken coop, or rabbits out of a garden. It may work alright for the latter, but it will absolutely not keep a predator out. Especially not a big one. It feels heavy enough to whistand a bit of wear and tear though. The price is fine, and the it's easy to install with zip ties or a staple gun. It does the job well enough, but make sure the job is reasonable for chicken wire.

Great quality, easy to use!
I'm an avid gardener and always have problems with squirrels, chipmunks and bunnies eating my tulips. This year I used the chicken wire to put it on top of my tulips to protect them from critters. It was very easy to work with, easy to cut, easy to bend and shape and easy to secure to the ground. The wire is coated with a green PVC material so it blends very well in the garden. With the extra wire and just some zip ties I made a mock up cage for my shubs and it works perfect to hold leaves and straw to protect your flowers in winter.
