The color matched my 2001 Civic perfectly and it looks great a few days after applying it. I used the paint to touch up a scrape left by a bicyclist mainly in the hope of keeping it from rusting. I don't know how well it will meet that goal. I found many different instructions online for how to touch up scrapes, many of them involving an elaborate coordination of products and steps beyond just touch up paint. I did use some sandpaper and primer before the touch up paint, as a relatively small strip of bare metal was exposed. Whether or not I succeeded in preventing rust might be more of a function of my choosing to not delve into the more elaborate instructions rather than a shortcoming of the paint itself. Although if the more elaborate instructions would have made a difference, then the complexity of proper use would be a drawback to consider. I was a little surprised at the small size of the bottle. I read in reviews of similar products that people were surprised to get something close to a bottle of nail polish in size. My scanning of the page before purchasing noticed it being labeled as "13 ounces," so I was expecting something much bigger when I got this. However, 13 ounces is the shipping weight. The actual volume of paint is 0.5 ounces or 14.7 mL. This was still more than enough for what I needed, it was just a lot less than I expected. Glancing over other Amazon products now, I see that shipping weight is a common product stat, so that probably isn't intended to misrepresent, I just think listing the actual volume too would have been a good idea. The product photo could have conveyed this had the resolution not been so low. Overall, I deducted one star because I think it would have been good to know the size ahead of time and because the use can get complicated (possibly unnecessarily so) if you obsess about doing things the "right" way and allow yourself to Google and read the myriad different ways that this could be used.

So far this has been a solid offering from Honda. The 3 state ivroy pearl paint is a tough match, but this does a great job of blending into and seems pretty durable once properly applied. Warning, using the included brush can be messy and yield poor results. I've found it much better to use a toothpick and apply tiny amounts at a time for the best smoothness and appearance. Overall, it's a close of a match as you will find and the process of application could be better, but it does get the job done.

Used this on my OEM white 4th Gen TL on some spots. Blends in very nicely. Not perfect but pretty damn close, can't tell from a distance. Got to get up real close ร/- 3 feet to notice.

So I got this for my 18 Civic which is painted White Orchid Pearl. As some reviewers say, it is in fact a bit whiter than the factory paint. Upon researching, I found out that the White Orchid Pearl is TRICOAT. Meaning there is the base paint, midcoat, and then the clear coat. Whereas the rest of the colors is just base paint and clearcoat (I could be wrong, fact check me). So if you want a better color match I would search for an alternative paint kit that offers the base paint and the mid coat. I haven't tried doing that yet so I couldnt tell you how that could work out. HOWEVER, that being said if you just want to repair really tiny paint chips, the color isnt too far off. It wouldnt be that noticeable unless you point it out imo. Just my 2 cents.

It's not the exact match for my Honda Passport's paint, but close enough so that the scratch isn't as noticeable.
