Not suitable for colder climates (Northeast US)
Very disappointed. The net didn't even see a single shot. Assembled without issue - very quickly! But, due to the tension and the winter cold, the black plastic corner piece shattered overnight. Didn't even get to play with it!

Breaks Easily
I bought a pair of these for a youth game and since day one I noticed the Base Frames started to bend quickly until they finally broke after just a couple of games.I called SKLZ to see what my options were but the lady didn't let me finish and told me to send an email. Still waiting for a response. If anybody has any advise on this, please feel free to comment on my review.CONS:- What I said above.- The hooks won't work on Artificial Grass or Turf because the tips are not sharp, so you will need to put some weight around it to hold it in place when somebody scores.PROS:- They are easy to carry (bags are included)- Quick and easy assembling/disassembling.- Very light (weight).

Nice design but fragile
I love the concept and the design. Set up is fast and it holds the ball well when kicked into the net directly. However, the metal holding the bow is very fragile and broke on the first ball that hit it. This could have been anticipated by the manufacturers since in the game of soccer, the ball can come from any angle. Furthermore, the white-stripping is not as solid as portrayed, however this works. 3-star rating for design, but this is too fragile to be used by adults (like their demo video shows).

Seems good on first use
When I first tried to assembly the goal I made a mistake because from the manual I couldn't tell that the crossbar was supposed to bow up off the ground. I thought it was supposed to bow to the rear. Admittedly I'm not very good with spacial stuff. Before I realized my error, I called customer support and an automated voice told me they were currently busy and would call me back. I was hoping that I could wait in the queue, but there was no such option. So I left my name and number. Seven hours later and they never called me back. So even though the error was mine, I wasn't pleased with the customer support.Once the goal was assembled, I was happy with the product. It seemed stable, even with an adult shooting into it. I wasn't kicking it as hard as I could, but much harder than my son who will be the primary user. I think now that I know how to do it, I can assemble it in less than 5 minutes. Same holds true for disassembly. The ball did sneak under the net on 1 shot even though I had the net fastened with the straps. Time will tell how durable it is. The manual states not to leave it outside when not in use. I was hoping I could keep it up in my hard for a couple of days, then take it down if we were going to get rain or very windy weather. So the product itself seems pretty good. I wish the manual was a little clearer regarding how the crossbar was supposed to bow. Also I wish their customer support was more timely. Those 2 things made be take off 1 star.

Well constructed portable goal, only minor issues
I bought one pair of the 12'w x 6'h Kicksters for our soccer club and once I set it up and saw the construction, I knew it was a winner. After about a week or two, I bought another pair while Amazon had its summer outdoor and sports special. I regret not buying even another pair or two. This size goal is the best value and presents compelling price point that blows away Bownet that is twice as much for only 2' wider. There is relatively little plastic and the joints appear very strong. The goal is tension-based with fiberglass rods in the back that pull the net up and outward. That fiberglass rod has only one joint. The top has a plastic ball that you insert a stud linked to one corner of the net. The other end of the rod inserts into a plastic plug of the steel back post. The interlocking 1" steel rods have bungee to keep them together disassembled but connect with push button, so even if the bungee eventually breaks, the goal would still be functional. The back 3-way elbow I believe is some sort of ABS-like plastic that is quite rigid. The bottom corner of the net has a grommet that accepts a tiny protruding ball at the end of the bottom sidebar cap. So ultimately, the two front posts and top post are the net's banding and there is little of the actual frame exposed to being hit by balls. I can see the black-colored back elbow degrading and cracking over time...maybe if they painted it with some sort of UV resistant paint, that would help. The bag provides a good fit and the three velcro straps allows the bag to open well enough that it is easy to put in and take out the disassembled goal. Most nylon bags will eventually separate at the seams, so only time will tell how durable it is. In all, the bag with disassembled goal is about 3' long by 7" diameter. After about three months of biweekly use, here are my two issues:1. The metal U stakes are too thin (about 1/8") and long (about 9") for the ground where we practice and pretty much every grassy park I know. The stakes provided are appropriate for beach sand and very loose (or very muddy) soil. As such, the stakes are prone to bending, or in our case where we use a mini 8 oz hammer, presents little target to hit (fortunately the side post is steel). To solve this, I went to the hardware store and bought 1/4" x 4" U-bolts (total cost about $5) -- perfect for semi-soft grassy field and much needed for the typical hard clay soil we usually have. Without stakes, the center of gravity makes it hard for most shots at the middle of the net to tip the goal over. Really, the stakes are meant to keep the goal in position and if a ball were to hit one of the edges of the net where there is tension. Longer stakes become more necessary for U13-up teen or adult players that have stronger kicks, but if so, the stakes need to be of appropriate diameter.2. The bag and strap do not make it pleasant to carry. The approx. 1" strap slips off one's shoulder and is very difficult to keep balanced if carrying multiple things as most coaches do (and it's the coach that's probably going to be the one in charge of bringing and/or will purchase this, so they should design it for a coach or person in charge of equipment). If this is the only thing you're carrying, it's still not easy. It's easier to just let it slip to one side to begin and then grab your ball bag, cones, training poles/flags, and/or other equipment. It might help to have a wider comfort shoulder pad like on a laptop bag. That would keep the strap from slipping and comfortable to make a long walk. Another suggestion for the bag would be a yellow or white writable surface to write whom the bag and goal belong to.Overall though, it is a hot purchase.

Netting Does Not Hold Up
We purchased this product as a Holiday gift in Dec 2012 as my two boys are avid soccer players - they are 9 and 11 years old. I set it up in the back yard in February and by March the netting was unraveling in 4 places. They do not hammer the goal or drive any such hard kicks into this as it is more about 1:1 play against each other to see who can make it to the net and put in a short pass. While we do get rain in the Seattle area, this is pretty dismaying. Now it is not much different from just putting up two cones - after any kick they have to run into the bushes to get the ball. :(I would be cautious about considering getting this product.
