Columbia Youth Drainmaker II Hybrid Water Shoe (Little Kid/Big Kid)

She liked these a lot and they fit her well. Used them to go hiking in PR. Had good traction as we were walking through muddy rain forest and rivers.

Our family of 4, 2 adults and 2 kids, needed water shoes for our recent trip to Costa Rica. Although after reading the reviews we were hopeful these would suit our purposes in trekking through rain and water, we weren't too confident about how comfortable they would be for long hikes and exploring the country on foot. So we all brought these water shoes in addition to our comfy athletic shoes, just in case.Much to our surprise, we could not have been happier with our purchase; we used these shoes for the entire trip! We should have kept our athletic shoes at home and saved alot of space in our suitcase!First off, they were true to size. Between the 4 of us, we all had a perfect fit. (We wanted the fit to be a little generous since we hoped to wear them with socks.)Second, they were as advertised for use in water. They drained well, and dried quickly.And third, and most surprising, they were amazing comfortable for walking. Granted, the soles were a little thin and at times too-flexible on uneven terrain. But for a water shoe, they outperformed our expectations. Not a single blister during the week-long activity-filled trip!

We love Columbia hybrid shoes, they make awesome summer camp shoes because they can wear them everywhere and they are compliant with Scout regulations for water shoes, so we get them each year. This year, as always, I measured their feet and ordered one size up to give them a bit of growing room. This usually works well for us. Big mistake with these, they looked like clown shoes. I ordered a Youth 7 for my daughter and I tried them on ( I wear a 7 1/2 womens) and they were still a little big on me. I kept those and ordered a 6 for her which was still a little big but much better. Just be careful maybe order a size down or don't order for growing room.

Best shoes out there for wading/floating/walking down a river. My whole family owns a pair for all of our muddy, wet adventures!

Not much to say about these. My son liked them, but immediately returned them because they were too big.

WASTE OF MONEY

I ordered size 5, but had to return it because the length of insole was equal 24.5 cm! Size 4 fits well. Shoes will work perfectly for pool and gym aerobics and for recreational bicycling

Got this for my daughter for a long, wet hike and it far exceeded expectations!
