Nice Hoodie/Warm but...
beware the bell shape! I HATE the bell shaped semi-fitted hooded, jackets and coats so many manufacturers seem to be moving to for women. And I sorely wish this hoodie didn't have it. First of all, not every one has the same waist length. This means that where the hourglass curves inward, it could be too high or too low for some. Not to mention, it just looks stupid IMHO. And my butt isn't near broad enough nor big enough to fill out the lower portion so it just sort of stands "around me" when zipped. This must be why the lady in the picture has her arms kind of close in to the garment. We can't really see the fit on someone slender.Anyway, I ordered the Small even though I wear a size 2 or 0, because I wanted to be able to wear a really heavy sweater underneath using this more as a jacket. While the Small is large on me, I don't think I could wear a heavy sweater with it and still be comfortable. A long sleeve tee or something of that nature will work fine, but I like to have more "movement ease" in my outerwear, and this semi-fitted hoodie isn't roomy enough for that even though I actually ordered up a size. Don't get me wrong, it is roomy but less so than I expected for the purpose I wanted it for.Overall, despite this complaint, the jackets themselves are very well made and the sleeves as well as the body and hood are lined with Sherpa, something that's been hard to find. The sleeves are also long enough for me, coming to the middle of my hand, which is usually not the case for me in ready-to-wear. The same goes for pant inseams. I usually wind up paying big bucks at J Crew or the Gap for the Skinny cords and jeans just to get a 32" inseam. There was minimal shrinkage upon washing and neither the length of the garment, the sleeves, nor the width of the garment were effected significantly. And they do launder up well requiring no ironing. The fact that they are warm enough to wear inside without having to crank the heat up higher and the beautiful colors offered won over any dislike I had for the ugly bell shape of the item and I actually ordered three more, finding nothing anywhere else close to what I wanted. The Baltic Blue is really a darker bluish green than appeared on my monitor. I'm thinking more of a blue spruce color. The Peach was also a bit darker and more orangey. I'm thinking more of a tangerine. The pink is more of a magenta (I'm thinking berry) and also a bit darker. The black is of course, true to color. Pure black. I didn't order the other color. Anything yellow green looks hideous on me and I don't carry those colors off well any more than I do a lot of grays. While it does pick up some lint and hair I haven't found it to be a magnet for it as some have indicated. In fact, there's little that I own that doesn't pick up some amount of these things anyway. And overall, I'm happy with my original purchase despite the hated bell shape of the torso. I wouldn't have ordered three more otherwise. If they would make this hoodie in a standard box type fit, I'd pick them all up again because the jacket itself is very good quality, good stitching, zippers work well, minimal shrinkage, no fading, completely Sherpa lined and offered in some very nice colors.I just really don't care for the bell shape semi-fitted torso and for that reason I deducted a full star and I was fighting giving it a three star because it could have been the perfect hoodie otherwise. At least for me.update 3/5/2017: I paid 29.99 each for four of these in different colors. They have never shrunk or pilled or faded. And they are the perfect jacket for indoors if you are a person always cold in the winter. Excellent quality, and though I still hate the bell shape, I'm not sorry I purchased them. They were just what I was looking for in terms of a warm transitional jacket.

Comparison of this jacket with 2 others
I needed a new hoodie to wear around the house, and after striking out at various brick and mortar stores, decided to order a few from Amazon in the hopes that one would be what I was looking for. I am 5'4", 150 pounds - hourglass shape. Many juniors-sized jackets are styled for women who are apparently tube-shaped - everything I tried on in the stores was too tight around the hips. But I also don't want something unisex that's huge and baggy - I like to look at least somewhat attractive around the house :). I was looking for something lightweight but not constricting. In other words, I am really really picky. After reading many reviews, I ordered 3 hoodies to try:- J. America Women's Sherpa Lined Thermal Hooded Sweatshirt - medium- Dickies Women's Sherpa Bonded Fleece Hoodie (this jacket) - medium- Billabong Juniors Tip Toeing Zip Up Fleece Jacket - largeThe J. America was absolutely enormous. There is no women's sizing here at all - it's unisex. Maybe a small would have fit. There is also a large, tacky label inside that I didn't like. This one, the Dickies jacket, was roomy and I almost kept it, but I decided it was a bit too heavy for indoor use. If I had been in the market for a new hoodie to wear as outerwear, I might have kept it. One possible disadvantage is that the hood does not have drawstrings. The Billabong is the one I kept - it's lighter weight because it's just a single layer of polar fleece. Good for indoors - might be a little thin for outdoors. It has the most flattering fit of all three - feminine but loose enough around the hips to not bunch up. (I ordered a size up as reviewers recommended.) The thumb holes in the sleeves are nice for using the computer or tablet in our cold house! For those who will be wearing it for outdoor exercise, there's also a small reinforced hole in the right-side pocket that allows you to run your headphone wires inside your jacket.

GREAT HOODIE!! Though I noticed most people call this a jacket....
I lost my fleece lined hooded sweatshirt and was desperately looking for a cozy replacement when I tripped on this item. After receiving it, it was exactly what I was looking for - it's a cozy warm soft fleecy (outside and in) hooded sweatshirt. The outside is black and the inside is tan. Granted, I wasn't so sure when I was looking at the listing that I was going to get what I aimed for and ordered it on a whim with the idea that return shipping was promised to be free.I noticed that when toggling on the listing, it seemed to go back and forth from being called a "jacket" to a "hoodie". In fact, as I'm writing this review, it says "Jacket". Many people have reviewed this as a jacket. I found only one reviewer that called it a hooded sweatshirt. As a New Englander, it is only a jacket if it protects me from some sort of precipitation, generally something wet-ish, like rain or snow. Something that is water resistant at best, I will deem it a jacket. This is a HOODED ZIP UP SWEATSHIRT (a.k.a. - a hoodie) and it is AMAZING. It's warm, cozy, and it's hood is perfectly designed to stay nicely up as you rotate your head, and it rotates WITH your head rather than around your head...but this is not, by definition, a jacket. That is, unless you're from an area that doesn't rain or snow a lot, and you break out the parka when the thermometer hits 40 degrees. Then sure, I suppose one might call it a jacket.Though I will say, if I were a few inches taller in my upper body, this would be a bit short. I'm 5'4 on a good day, and it fits me well - but it is not long (I got the Medium). In short, if you're looking for a cozy fleece lined hooded zip up sweatshirt, this is perfect for you. If you're looking for a coat of sorts and the thought of 40 degrees makes you shiver, move along.
