Protects like a charm!
After a mysterious nick appeared in the paint of my Golden Legend of Zelda 3DS XL, I knew it was time to find a case to protect it and I knew Amazon was the place to go. Lo and behold, my searches brought me to this product. At first sight, it was appealing because of the decent price and the fact that it was clear - the best option for showcasing my 3DS. So, after reading a few reviews, I bought it.When it arrived in the mail a few days later, I was not disappointed one bit.It comes in two pieces and it's material lives up to the "Duraflexi" name. It feels smooth, and has flex to it, but I have no doubt that it can protect my 3DS in the rare case that I drop it.Besides protecting my baby, another one of my concerns was the feel of the case once it was on the 3DS. I can't stand when a case doesn't fit snugly to my device. This case did not have that problem. It fits snugly to the device, and I have yet to have any problems with it moving around while I am playing. If you look at the provided pictures from the manufacturer, you see that they have included pictures of it on the Zelda 3DS XL; these pictures are very true to the item you are getting. Finally, as far as how it feels when on the 3DS, I personally like it. As expected, it adds some bulk to the device, but personally I like the feel of it. I have fairly small hands, and even I feel this gives me a better hold on my 3DS. It has been designed very well, and the added bulk does not interfere with closing the 3DS.It's safe to say that this is a very nice product, and at such a good price too. I can't see it standing up to being run over by a car, and I wouldn't recommend tossing it at a wall, but I can't see any case standing up to such trials. But will it protect your precious 3DS XL from everyday wear and tear, and light to moderate impact? Yes.

Pretty good.
It fits really snug. I was hoping it would be a little loose. I do have a cute skin underneath the clear TPU case, and It's wrinkling up the skin. Also the bottom case, the nubs doesn't fit on the back of my 3DS into the holes like they should. It stays on though nonetheless. It makes the 3DS a little bulky and a bit heavy. The bulkyness and heavyness doesn't bother me. But If you think that will bother you. I suggest not buying it. Everything is easy to get to nonetheless. The stylus, SD card slot, volume, and everything else in between. It also protects well, and it's easy to takeoff, and put on. I can also still see my adorable skin underneath. I give it 3 out of 5 because of the skin wrinkling, and the bottem case nubs doesn't fit into those 2 holes where the gamecard slot is located on the left and right side on the back of the system.Edit: I still use my TPU. It's been 4 years. The TPU case has tarnished. It has a yellowish color to it now. But it still fits great. I can still see my skin underneath it, and now the little nubs on the back fits into the slots. Yes it's been 4 years. But I can say the case is pretty good to have if you don't mind the tarnish that will happen later on after normal use.

Very good protecor for 3dsXL, wish there were more color options
Very good protector, it's between hard plastic and soft rubber. It is soft to the touch and flexes a little, just enough to be easy to install. But you can't flex it much. Hard to describe, but it's a good balance of stiff and soft. Fits the 3dsXL perfectly and doesn't add any bulk at all. It doesn't block the SD card slot or the cameras at all, and it even has a space for the power/charging indicator light. It's not tacky enough to grab on your clothes so you can slide it in and out of your pocket fine and this is a good case protector for traveling, I would still rather use the Dreamgear Comfort Grip if I was going to play for longer than a few hours but that thing is so bulky that I leave this protector on most of the time. There is no protection for the rear hinge-area nor the shoulder buttons though and this is main reason I docked 1 star, the most sensitive spot on the exterior of the 3dsXL that you do not want taking any damage is the hinge area. Overall I'm happy though, keeps scratches and fingerprints off the 3dsXL.My biggest complaint is a minor one about the colors. I got a black/black 3dsXL because it's an adult color and matches the rest of my electronics, this clear case looks horrid and sickly on the black/black color. I suggest only getting this clear case if you have artwork on your outer case like the Zelda edition 3dsXL, it really doesn't look good on solid-color consoles. I won't waste money buying another one because mine works great and I am happy but if I had to do it again I would go for the blue or red case protectors. If in the future they make a solid black Duraflex protector then I think I'd get it, until then I'm good. Now if the only 3dsXL's on sale that day I bought mine was like pink or some other ugly color then I definitely would have gotten the blue or red case protector just to hide it.
