Merrell Chameleon 4 Ventilator Sneaker (Toddler/Little Kid/Big Kid)

I'm an adult female with small but wide feet, so the youth size 5 (eu size 36) fits me better than the women's shoes of similar style. My previous shoes were the Merrell Moab Ventilators and I loved them. They lasted about a year before I wore through the soles. This year, the youth size Moabs were discontinued so I chose the Chameleon 4's because they have a similar look with similar features in the product description. I was disappointed. The shoes fit my feet, but they had absolutely no arch support. The removable insoles were completely flat. I took the insoles (that had a nice built in arch support) out of my old Moabs and put them in the Chameleons. Also, the Chameleons only have 4 lace holes. It makes it very hard to tighten the shoes around my ankles without tightening them all the way down to the toes. I plan to punch some extra lace holes. It's too bad that I had to amend the shoes in order to make them workable for me. If I could have found another shoe that fit my feet as well, I would have returned these. They're a much more cheaply made shoe than the Moabs were.

Got these for my daughter.. She seems to like them. I frequently hike in the adult Merrell Ventilator series, and these seem to compare in quality...just smaller.

A little boxy compared to the adult shoe however, fits nice for the application, would buy Merrell again if the price is right

This is the 2nd pair of these I have purchased for my daughter. She runs, plays soccer and uses these shoes for her "go to school" shoes. they hold up like iron, but remain comfortable throughout their life. I used to purchase 2 or sometimes 3 pairs of shoes for my other kids, but these seem to be holding up just fine as an "only pair of shoes for the year". If you have kids, these shoes will perform like no other that I've seen before. They fit exactly as you would want them to fit. If you put your foot on a scale, see the size, get that size and they'll fit exactly....at least that's been my findings.

I ordered these shoes for my 7 year old daughter whose favorite activities are hiking, rock climbing, and geocaching. We are looking forward to breaking in these shoes this weekend on a campout. They definitely run on the smaller side and are narrow. Thankfully, I read previous reviews and ordered up a half-size. She has a pair of water hiking shoes by Keen in a size 12, and they are loose. These Merrells in a size 12.5 are just right to a little snug. I like the extra padding around the heel. Colors are super cute - a bit of pink makes them girl-friendly without being too girly. Will work for school or the outdoors.

The quality of the shoes are great but they run small. We are returning for a half size up.

Bought these for a week long camping trip. My son loved them and said they were comfy.

Wir haben Größe 38 bestellt iund den Hinweis, dass dieser Schuh sehr klein ausfalle und man daher unbedingt eine Nummer größer bestellen solle, leider erst gelesen, als der Schuh bereits unterwegs war. Ich habe mich also fest darauf eingestellt, den Schuh wieder zurückschicken zu müssen - aber siehe da, er fällt sicher nicht kleiner aus als Größe 38??? Die Innensohle lässt sich auch herausnehmen, und ich habe sie mit den Innensohlen diverser Schuhe in Größe 37 verglichen - diese Größe 38 ist wirklich mindestens eine Größe größer als die ganzen Schuhe in Größe 37! Meiner Meinung nach fällt der Schuh regulär aus - und wenn nicht, dann jedenfalls eher größer als kleiner! Ansonsten macht der Schuh einen stabilen und hochwertigen Eindruck, aber da er heute erst geliefert wurde, hat er sich am Fuß noch nicht bewährt.

Schuhgröße 35 entspricht hier einer 36!Habe schon viele Damen- Merellschuhe wieder zurückgesandt, wie immer ist auch bei diesem Kinderschuh der Vorfußbereich seeeehr weit geschnitten.Positiv ist eine stabile Ferse, luftige Verarbeitung, und sehr gute Sohle, so dass er sich prima zum Wandern eignet.Nur die Schnürsenkel sind viel zu lang.

Queste scarpe sono state un buon acquisto: le consiglio per il rapporto qualità' prezzo. La nota in merito alla calzata piccola e' stata utilissima!!! Ho infatti ordinato un numero più grande rispetto a quello che porta mio figlio e gli vanno benissimo! Io le ho prese per la montagna ma possono benissimo essere usate in città tutti i giorni. Sembrano molto resistenti. A mio figlio sono piaciute molto.
