TrailHeads Women’s Ponytail Headband | Fleece Earband | Winter Running Headband

I bought this for my granddaughter for Christmas. She is a high school varsity XCountry runner, who runs all winter long. She loves this fleece headband. It keeps her nice and warm while she is running outside during our cold Michigan winters!

This entire TrailHeads line is marketed toward women, but I'm a guy and at this point I own several of their items, because their quality is high, the style is what i want (high-visibility green), it's comfortable and it keeps me warm. I use this high-visibility green headband while sailing in the winter in the pacific northwest, under my other cold-weather gear. I slip it down around my neck or up to my forehead, depending on what I need. I have many other head and neck protection items, and I rotate through them depending on the situation, but this headband is one of my favorites. I also have the black-with-green-accent version which I use running, and it matches my other running gear (which includes TrailHeads fleece hand warmers, and TrailHeads elements running gloves). The ponytail port is irrelevant to me at this point (I have short hair) but the hole does not feel like it diminishes the effectiveness of the headband. Great stuff.

I use this for running in colder weather. It is very absorptive and fits well. I don’t use the ponytail opening. The band is fairly wide, and the edge/hem leaves a line on your forehead.

This nice one-size-fits all - women's ponytail headband is black with pink trim. I purchased two of these for my friends that are avid runners. It is very stylish and has an innovative design that allows a ponytail to be put through the back hole much like a ball cap. The fabric is soft, premium quality polyester fleece insulates while wicking moisture to keep you warm and comfortable throughout your workout. It has a poly / spandex binding enhances comfort and ensures a secure fit; the contoured shape measures 2.5" at the forehead and 4" over the ears --- delivering extra protection where it's needed most. It is available in a wide variety of colors and is machine wash and air dry.

This is a cozy warm headband that doesn't trap moisture--my hair is usually wet underneath a headband after a run even in the coldest weather but it stays pretty dry under this one. One design feature I really appreciate is that I have bangs and don't like to push them back. The forehead of this headband is just narrow enough to fit between my hairline and eyebrows. The ponytail holder ensures that it doesn't slip or slide around. Have put it through the wash twice and it seems to be holding up well. My new favorite winter headband!

To manufacturers: Want me to review your items, just let me know! Bought this for my soccer playing daughter. Material is great, functionality works well and the fit is correct. My daughter is so-so on it's use because it simply gets too warm for her to use for any length of time. Being that we live in the NW, it can get cold, rainy and wet during the winter soccer season. We've had a relatively mild winter which hasn't necessitate using warmer headbands yet but she has used it on occasion. In the end, it's probably a bit too bulky and warm for fast-paced athletics, but would work really well in more consistent speeds/sports. But this rating is based on preference of my daughter. It would have to be pretty cold for her to use this consistently. The durability is better than I expected . I likely would not purchase this product again but that is not by fault of TrailHeads, more a function of my daughter in her sport.

Love this headband! It's very soft, not itchy at all. The ponytail hole is perfect for big scrunchies or small hairties. This band also keeps my ears super warm and it's fit perfectly so as to keep my ears covers even when I'm gallivanting around. As it is fleece it's rather slow to dry if submerged so avoid a thorough soaking. If it does get wet you can ring it out and hang it to dry overnight but it might not be entirely dry until the sun hits it for a bit. But that's normal for fleece.

Love these! Comfy, warm, stay in place, and not bulky. Can be worn with or without a ponytail in. Can be work under another hat. I have sensitive ears with cold and wind and the were great protection for outdoor running and yard work. Bonus: I didn’t get hat head from these either.

Ich habe mit das TrailHeads Pferdeschwanz-Stirnband gekauft, weil ich sehr empfindlich bin was kalte Luft an den Ohren betrifft. Ich brauche sowohl beim Radfahren als auch zum Joggen bei frischeren Temperaturen dringend was auf den Ohren. Dieses Stirnband sitzt sehr gut. Azsreichend fest ohne zu verrutschen, aber auch nicht zu fest, sodass es bei längerem Tragen unangenehm wäre. Ich bin knapp eine Stunde mit dem Rad unterwegs gewesen und das Stirnband saß immer noch sehr bequem und hielt schön warm. Der Stoff fühlt dich sehr weich an und fühlt sich angenehm auf der Haut an. Ich habe es allerdings noch nicht bei winterlichen Temperaturen getestet (bisher bei um 6°C herum) und kann daher noch nicht sagen, wie wärmend es dann noch ist. Das Loch für den Pferdeschwanz ist für meinen Geschmack ziemlich weit unten und passt daher nicht so gut zu meinen Zopf-Präferenzen. Aber das ist kein Problem, ich trage den Zopf dann einfach über dem Stienband. Insgesamt bin ich bisher sehr zufrieden mit dem Stirnband. Würde ich mir definitiv nochmals kaufen. Also von mir (auch ohne den Winter-Test) 5 von 5 Sternen.

The product feels like it is made of great quality material. However, as shown in the picture, the product image is a bit deceptive. The actual product is not as wide as it appears. You either have to position it very specifically, otherwise worn normally, the head band only covers two thirds of my ears. Although it may be suitable for you if your ears sit very high up on your face. Furthermore, the company does not offer free refunds.
