GREAT for steaming veggies and EGGS!
When this product arrived, it contained both, the steamer basket and the trivet. The basket is of quality and is very practical. The trivet is a bit taller than the one that comes with the InstantPot. That, to me, is a nice feature of this particular set up. One can add more water if necessary without the concerns of your veggies or eggs being in the water. BOILED EGGS in the InstantPot: In my case, I put a dozen eggs in the steamer basket. Yes, some of it was stacked but that is OK. I then put two cups of water in the pot and used the trivet that came with this. I put the InstantPot on manual, low pressure, for six minutes. I did the "natural" release for 5 minutes then opened the valve all the way. Once opened, I carefully placed the eggs in a large bowl of ice water and let it rest for a few minutes. My wife said thees are the best boiled eggs she's ever had! PROS: Nice, quality gauge stainless steel construction, fits perfectly in the InstantPot 6-Qt. CONS: None noted.

Perfect for the Instant Pot electric pressure cooker!
I bought this set to use in my Instant Pot LUX-60 Instant Pot IP-LUX60 6-in-1 Programmable Pressure Cooker, 6-Quart 1000-Watt and it fits perfectly. The trivet is high enough so that whatever I place on it will be above the water. I originally bought the set for the trivet because I was making cheesecake in my IP, and the trivet I had was just 'barely' high enough to keep the cheesecake pan out of the water. The steamer pan is a HUGE bonus. I replaced the steamer basket I was using which was supposed to be stainless steel but was rusting a lot. Both items are high quality. The trivet is sturdy and the steamer basket is heavy and works very well.

Very nice!
I ordered two different kinds of steamer inserts for my Instant Pot, and this one is by far the better. There are two pieces, so you can use the bottom one (a largely open wire platform on legs with no sides) to steam something big, like a chicken breast. Then there's a basket with large-ish holes in the bottom (but no holes in the sides), which has solid sides and two handles that fold down to get out of the way, which could steam smaller things, like broccoli. However, if you want to steam really tiny things, the holes will be too large. I'm thinking of things like bean sprouts, which would fall right through. I noticed two things about this that were particularly nice. The first is, the basket won't roll off the platform, even if you set it up first on a counter, because the outer ring of the platform is slightly raised and stops the basket from sliding. The second thing - and this is important to me - is that the factory polished the metal so there are no rough edges around the holes. The other steamer I bought had very rough edges. I'm very happy with this product!

Must have accessory for pressure cooker
Perfect fit for the Secura 6-in-1 Electric Pressure Cooker 6qt, 18/10 Stainless Steel Cooking Pot, Pressure Cooker, Slow Cooker, Steamer, Rice Cooker, Browning/Sautรฉ, Soup Maker . I was using a silicone steamer basket before - which worked fine - but it was very difficult to clean if I used to cook things like chicken. All the little holes would get plugged up and have to be cleaned out one by one. No such problem with this as the holes are so large. The design of the wire handles on the basket work well and seem pretty well thought out. They cool off pretty fast so I can just pull out the basket with my bare hands. The basket and stand could be made out of heavier gauge stainless. It is much lighter than any pan or bowl I have or the pressure cooker vessel. I expected it to be twice as heavy. But maybe that would be overkill. I just hope it holds up OK.

Great rack and steamer basket!
I have a Cuisinart CPC-600 Electric Pressure Cooker . I wanted more versatility so I looked into steaming inserts and racks. I found this set and decided to try it out. It fits my pressure cooker and the original nonstick pot perfectly. The rack measures 8 1/4" in diameter and 1 1/2" high. The basket is 7 5/8" across on the base and 8 1/2" across at the top. It is 2" high with two folding handles. The handles are easy to remove if needed for cooking or cleaning. I have used this set numerous times since I purchased it and have found that it is more useful than I had imagined. Pressure steaming potatoes in a basket is far superior to pressure cooking them submerged in liquid! If you have the same pressure cooker as I do and are concerned about damaging the nonstick surface I suggest that you buy a 6-quart Pressure Cooker 18/10 Stainless Steel Cooking Pot . It teams up very well with this rack and steamer basket set.

Potatoes came out perfect, not soggy
I had this item on my wish list for a long time but was hesitant to pull the trigger since I had purchased the stainless steel insert sold by this company and we had a bit of trouble with the quality of the insert (I must have gotten a lemon). I use it with the Cuisinart CPC-600 1000-Watt 6-Quart Electric Pressure Cooker, Brushed Stainless and Matte Black and for the fist time, I used it in combination with the stainless steel insert purchased previously from the same vendor. Secura 6-quart Pressure Cooker 18/10 Stainless Steel Cooking Pot which also fits perfectly in this pressure cooker. Word about the vendor: My experience is that they will work with you to fix any issues you might have. Placed the little stand at the bottom and added enough water to create steam. Added the basket. Placed cut up red potatoes to fill the basket. Used the low setting for 2 minutes. Potatoes came out perfect, not soggy. Great potato salad. I will never boil potatoes again. This works so much better and keeps potatoes from absorbing water while cooking. This is perfect when making home-made mashed potatoes and the only liquid you want is the milk and butter. Bunches of broccoli are next... and carrots...and... thinking of pouching a few fish fillets with seasoning and steaming for a minute at low pressure to protect the fish from falling apart. Once I do the above, I'll post on the results.

Great quality!
After watching a YouTube video about cooking with the Instant Pot we followed the recommendation of the presenter and ordered this steam basket and rack set. I am so glad we did. Although labeled for the 6 quart model, it fits nicely in our 8 quart IP. The product appears to be well built and very solid. We have used it for chicken, broccoli, asparagus, turkey burgers and it works a treat. Cleanup is easy as Stuff washes right off the stainless. Very pleased with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone using the Instant Pot.
