If i hook up the monitor via HDMI to my computer, will it carry the audio through the HDMI or will I need to use the 3.5mm audio cable as well?

Yes, hooking up this monitor directly to the HDMI port of your computer will carry the audio signal through and sound will be outputted at the monitor's built-in speakers. However, if your computer has a DVI port and you are using an adapter to turn it into HDMI, the audio signal will be absent and you will have to use a 3.5mm audio cable and plug it to the monitor's green-colored audio-in jack to get sound to come out of the monitor's built-in speakers.

Does this monitor adjust VERTICALLY? Can it slide up and down on its stand to get it to eye-level?

This monitor does NOT adjust vertically. I purchased 2 of these monitors and the "Mount-It! Dual Freestanding Monitor Stand for Monitors Up to 27" screens", to make them fully adjustable.

Is this monitor 60hz or 120hz?

What viewsonic monitor is good for graphic design?

I've been using Viewsonic monitors, all the way up to 30 inchers, in graphic design studios and ad agencies for years. My last monitor, a very inexpensive one, never looked like the screen on my Macbook Pro computer, no matter how much I adjusted it. As soon as I saw this Viewsonic 24 inch for such a great price, I snapped it up. Out of the box, I was using Photoshop, InDesign, Dreamweaver and Final Cut Pro - working on video, web sites, and print documents - with great confidence that the color I saw was correct. Great, great monitor.
