MLB New York Yankees Authentic On Field Game 59FIFTY Cap

After trying on several caps and owning several fitted caps I knew which size to get, so I thought it was safe to order this from Amazon. Big mistake. The size that I recieved was not the standard 7 1/4 as advertised. I gave Amazon another chance by requesting an exchange but the second cap was the same incorrect size, it was probably closer to a size 8. As noted on another post, the caps are not made in the USA but that is no excuse for them to be off by so much. I stick to Lids in the future.

Hat looked good and brand new in the box. Bought a 7 1/4 hat and it fit like a 7 3/8...only time this happened is when I bought it off amazon. Suggest buying the hat in a store and not online due to this. Dont know why. But my other 5 hats are all 7 1/4 and fit perfect. Yet the only time I buy a hat offline with the same measurement its off...hmmm makes me wonder if its real or not.

I have owned the new authentic caps since they have come out in 2007. I recently got a new one because I needed a bigger size. The materials used have gone down in quality slightly, the new caps aren't wool & acrylic like my 2007 cap, but rather 100% polyester and made in china. I do think the cap looks good and I like wearing the same cap that the players were on field. I am a proud NYY fan and this cap fulfills its purpose. Go Yankees!

I'll just do two reviews in one because I bought the Black one and the Navy Blue one and they are both size 8. As far the Black one, it isn't too big or too small, it was a perfect fit. Now the Navy Blue was more tight around my forehead when I wore it. I'm gonna keep wearing it though, hopefully it loosens up. That was definitely kinda odd how different they felt, and like others said the sizing was off a little. The hats didn't bend easily or anything like that, I had them for a few weeks but only wore them about 3 times each. If I do have any other issues I'll update the review.

i have had many yankee new era hats in the past and always a 7 3/8 size. this one was huge and looked a little cheap. it was not made in usa, made in china, very disappointing. sent it back.

Word to the wise, make sure you group any hats ordered from amazon with other larger items to ensure they ship it in a box.This arrived exactly as described. I had no issues with the hat being crushed or flattened as I chose to group this with other larger items^^ Some people have complained about hats being crushed from amazon.com after being shipped in a padded shipping envelope...That said, I'm extremely pleased with this purchase as it's the exact same hat minus the $35+tax price tag you would pay in any local retailer. All told this was about $15, or 40% less than the retail price for the exact same item, plus I didn't have to get off the couch, not too shabby.

I saved 25.00$ from mowing just to buy a Amazon Card cause I would have just the correct ammount of money. I bought this hat 3 days ago and it came today. I was so excited i tore the box open and got the hat out, i was so happy. Its excellent condition, its unreal. Size fits perfecty, and looks, and feels great. I LOVE MY HAT!!
