Travel Foam Roller, High-Density Massage Tool for Flexibility, Myofascial Release, and Recovery

This product is great. It was recommended to me by my brother; both of us have had IT band tightness, to the degree that it prevented us from running. Rolling with this foam roller really helped. It helped more than any single other exercise that the physical therapist had me do. It doesn't solve serious problems on its own, but it loosens tightness better than stretching. My husband has started using this on his tight muscles, too - back, quads, hamstrings, etc. It is the travel size, so sometimes when I'm rolling, I end up falling off the edge since it's short, but no problem, I just get back on. I even took it on Christmas vacation with me in case my knee started hurting. It's surprising how much a piece of foam can help your muscles feel better.

This will definitely roll out whatever ails you. This is a smaller diameter roller, so will be more intense than a larger diameter one. It's narrow, so packs up nicely for travel. I use it after runs to help keep me mobile and flexible and out of pain. I can train harder and longer because I'm not as limited by knots and trigger points. I've had mine a couple of months and use it almost daily and haven't noticed any compression. Recommended.

This is a great, portable-sized foam roller, it is in my gym bag and I take it with me every time I work out. the 4 inch diameter is just high enough that you get a good roll but doesn't take up too much room. And the 12 inch length is wide enough for me to roll my back. I can't quite roll both quads at the same time on it like I can with the standard sized foam roller but this is supposed to be travel sized and convenient which it is. I find this very useful and it doesn't take up that much room. If you need to bring a foam roller with you, I definitely recommend this.

This roller is a nice, smaller size...more portable than my big one. The density and diameter are just right for me and my IT band and piriformis issues are already doing much better. The seller was great about changing my shipping address after I screwed it up! An excellent product at an excellent price, from a terrific seller!

I took a 10 day vacation and needed to keep up physical therapy exercises. This was a good substitute for the regular foam roller. It is more dense than a larger foam roller, but that didn’t bother me. Other people may not like that.

I found this to be painful when using on my neck and back. I am donating it to the local gym. Perhaps some muscular guy can use it for an I-T band roller.

This is my second purchase for this size of a foam roller. My neck and the upper part of my back always gets stiff, sore and I get headaches. I used to visit my chiropractor about every other month when it was just to much to bare. Now I use the roller just about every day or when my neck is pretty sore or tensed up. Usually in the morning after my sleeping pillow got the best of me, then in the evening after work. It really helps relax my neck and the pain. I lay on my back and put the roller behind my neck and just roll my neck side to side-it feels good. I also lay on my back and roll it from top to about the middle of my back to get my upper back un-kinked. It feels SO Much better afterwards. So now I probably go to my chiropractor about twice a year when my hip gets me in trouble! This is a smooth very firm roller which is perfect for my needs and the results. I even make sure to pack it in my suitcase when I go out of town.

I bought this for traveling. It is generally ok for use, but I found it a bit hard for my taste.

It’s easy to fit in a suitcase - and lightweight- so I can keep up with my foam rolling while travelling. Very useful and it does not add a lot of weight nor take a lot of space .
