Excellent flavor, good amount of marzipan!

We ordered a single box of Marzipan Kirsch 3 weeks ago. It was fantastic. Everything was fresh and delicious! Based on that order, we ordered triple the amount, 3 boxes. When we opened the order and sampled the first box, the outside of the chocolate was gray and the alcohol dried up. The Marzipan had lost most of its flavor! The product was obviously OLD. We ordered that first box separately to test the cordial and the seller. This product cannot be returned! Now we’re stuck with our outdated candy and wasted the cost of 3 boxes of chocolate Marzipan Kirsch. My German grandmother is rolling over in her grave!

These are actually pretty good! The marzipan mixed with a whole cherry makes for a tasty combo. They make a great little gift or stocking stuffer—especially since the price is surprisingly low. Definitely worth giving a try!

No sugar, eat a piece of bread instead. Not sweet, not interesting, not good in my opinion. Waste of calories & $. Maybe if you don't like sweets, this is for you.

The marzipan itself is not particularly good. It felt a bit 'crumbly' when eating it, not a solid marzipan paste. I mostly taste the cherry, nothing else. The chocolate is covered with the white film you get when it has been exposed to cold. Perhaps that affected the taste of the chocolate itself, which was pretty much none. The images on Amazon show the back of the box's Nutrition label, but that image does NOT include the warning that this product is unlawful to sell to persons under 21, because it does contain Black Forest Kirsch, which is alcohol. You don't really taste that much, either, but it seems to me that a warning like that should be given more prominently.

These candies were delightful. As a present for my Mom, I was lucky enough to get to have one with her. They were seriously fresh, like they had just been made right before shipment. If you like candied cherries, you will love these.

The piece of candy I unwrapped was stale and old looking with a dusty bloom on the chocolate. The cherry inside was black in color--not at all cherry red like on the package and the overall taste was bland. I ordered two boxes because I was going to give a box to a friend, but that's not happening. I wish I would have ordered one box at a time to test them out as they are non returnable. Lesson learned.
