I mentioned in an other review that I had parked my 20 year old vehicle in my garage and could not start it to move it out. While waiting for the part to fix it I decided to do some other work on it. This work included opening the rear hatch. I open the hatch only to discover that the struts could no longer keep it raised. Not good. How do you work bending over into the cargo area with the rear hatch trying to close and pressing you forward? I ordered the replacement struts and when they arrived I was able to replace both of them in about 5 minutes, no special tools needed. The hatch now opens and closes as it did 20 years ago. Quality parts at a good price and no need to pay to have them installed.
