Simple Solutions GCP900 Grunge Brush and Degreaser

I'd probably buy it again, but without a lot of enthusiasm. The handle is a little too flex-y, and this brush just isn't significantly superior to MANY other super cheap brushes out there. A meh experience, if that's what you're looking for.

Some of the bristles getting mangled after just couple of uses, works great though.

Ordered it for cleaning a really dirty o-ring chain on my CBR. The last owner never cared for his bike much so the chain (although structurally in good condition) was really very dirty with all sorts of wax build-up on sprocket (front and rear) as well as chain. The build was totally black with atleast 4-5mm thick gunk and absolutely dry build-up on the chain. The chain had not been cleaned for atleast 4k miles.Had to use plenty of WD-40 and this half a roll of bounty but this worked like a charm. The Grunge Brush was a life saver. It did the job for me in less than 20 mins what would have easily taken me 2-3 hours with a regular tooth-brush or any other sort of cleaning device. Cloth alone would have never done what this brush did. It left my chain looking spot-less (and I am not exaggerating). Amazing design and a breeze to use.The only minor con: The height of the 3 brushes is adjustable to suit your chain. I had some difficulty taking out the plastic base of 3 brushes to adjust the height using bare hands, but I popped a screw driver and they came out right away.I would recommend this item to everyone without any hesitation. Order was shipped by Amazon and arrive on time and the price was unbeatable.

This thing has really simplified the process of cleaning my motorcycle chain. I just throw the bike on the rear stand, put it in neutral, spin the wheel with one hand, and keep the grunge brush in place with the other. Make the occasional shift to scrub over the one side the brush doesn't grip, and boom easy job.My only gripe with the brush is the bristles sometimes sliding out of place while I use the brush. The bristles are on these plastic things that slide into place on the handle of the brush. Makes it super easy if you wanted to thoroughly clean the brush, but it also makes it so they slide off the brush end sometimes.

**Update 2 years later: Still haven't broken this thing but have needed to replace the brushes which is expected. Only complaint is the brushes tend to get pulled out of place some times which is annoying.So far so good. Used to clean the chain on 4 Honda/Yamaha dirt bikes and a Baja mini bike. All 3 bristles can be raised and lowered one notch to fit different chain widths. Product claims to be o-ring safe which is a big plus. Plastic isn't incredibly strong but after using on all 5 bikes multiple times (it gets a workout), I fail to see how people are breaking these unless they are standing on them or applying more pressure than necessary. They are certainly strong enough for regular cleaning. Surprisingly, the brush bristles still look as good as new.

a Grunge Brush: works great on a nasty chain after being sprayed down with Simple Green. I recall that the bristles that clean one of the surfaces of the chain has already worn down; but slip-in replacements are available, IF I can find them locally. It may be a good idea to order 5-6 replacement brushes if you buy this tool to ensure the tool brush makes it through your next 3000 miles... I have not found any good use for the long bristled brush found on the end of tool tool handle, except to cut it down as a replacement brush for the chain face...

Pretty handy tool, the brushes dont really have any kind of retaining mechanism so if you have em set tight they can wander out the side but overall it does what it's supposed to do.The brush bristles on one side got bent over pretty early on so I wouldn't say the longevity is great for those but that's why they are replaceable

Works ad advertised i used it to clean up my motorcycles chain and it was a ton faster than using a toothbrush or something along those lines, your able to clean three sides of the chain at once with this tool and you just flip it over to clean the last side. The bristles aren't super stiff they are plastic but they are stiff enough to get the job done. I rated four stars because the bristles do bend if you apply too much pressure, they are adjustable and removable which makes me wish it came with an extra set of them.

Works great and most likely faster and much more thourough than using something like an old pot scrubber.

Best product I've ever owned for cleaning the chains of my R6.The end brush bristles are too long and therefore doesn't brush as well for the corners of the sprockets.Hard to find this brush in local bike shops without the added cleaning bottle.
