For years I have been using mailing labels on bottles of blends of essential oils, and the oils would get under the labels and the tape, smear what I'd written on the labels, and then the label would slide off completely. Doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results is insanity. (Albert Einstein) So finally I looked for another system and found these labels. They work great! When they are on they are On! So you do have to be careful putting them on the bottle, because once they have attached, that is where they label is going to stay. I also found that I do have to wait a couple seconds for the ink to dry on the label before trying to peel it off the backing, or I can smear what I wrote, but once that is dry it stays put, too.Update: I was going to remove one star because I have found that the chalk will come off it the oil of the bottle comes in contact with it, so I have to rewrite the label. But I then I discovered that I could put clear fingernail polish over it I could make the label permanent unless I then use nail polish remover to take it off.
