Extreme Street Hockey Goalie Set

My son was very excited to purchase and receive this hockey pad set, but after only the second use, the seams started to come undone. This set is being used indoors, on carpet, to practice goal shots with his father. Given that, it is not being used roughly, and surely not after two uses. The seams should not be coming undone in the hand ..in TWO spots, no less. For $67, we did expect more in quality. UPDATE: Contacted the company regarding their blocker and they are sending a replacement. Great customer service! I am expecting this blocker to hold up; perhaps it was a faulty shipment.

You get what you pay for. I knew this going in. Bought for my hockey obsessed three year old to wear around the house as dress up. Just with that wear the blocker tore apart. The leg pads twist around and don't stay in place. However, my son is happy and the price was right. Not for actual hockey use though. Good size for 3-5 yr old only.

Excellent for my 5 year old. They do tend to shift a little so better to keep them on tight.

We bought this Street hockey goalie set for our 7 year old for his birthday. There was only one other review and it wasn't good, but we thought we would try them anyway. Mistake. They mitt is flimsy at best. I think even if his little brother hit a slap shot at him it would sting if he tried to catch it. The blocker was about the same quality as the mitt. The leg pads were a little more protective (with a slight emphasis on the word little) Now, I will admit that the description does say that it is used to reduce injury and not prevent them. So I don't expect them to be professional quality. However, we were able to go to a local sporting goods store and invest a little bit more money and get a much better product.

Not as nice as we thought. We bought our son new ones bc his old ones were getting worn. Well, the worn ones are better quality and he went right back to wearing his old ones. The knee pads are thin and the gloves ripped the same day (Christmas). This was a Christmas present.

My son loves goalies and wants real goalie pads at age 3 but the are all to big so I got these and he likes them. They are a little big but he will grow into them then we will get him real ones when he gets bigger.

We gave this to my 5 year old son yesterday for Christmas and he LOVES it. I would give it 5 stars if the blocker wasn’t already unstitched after 1 day. I read a lot of reviews about that happening and I should have listened.

I bought this for my grandson (who is 5) for Christmas and was very pleased He loves it and play with it all the time. He is in hockey and want to be a goolie, so this products is helping him.

Perfect size and lightweight.

Not as well made as I expected. Very light weight which is good for my 5 yr old but the pads are not flexible enough for him to move around playing road hockey. We also cannot take shots at him with even a tennis ball. Not enough protects. My son however loves wearing the gear all over the house!

This set is great! Our son was thrilled with it. However we were somewhat disappointed it did not arrive in the colours pictured. The set we received is navy and bright green.

cheap quality -- especially the blocker -- after my kids used it for a day the blocker glove stiches became undone - the straps are always loose on the pads

Had the gloves not even a day and they ripped. Disappointing
