After trying to figure out what to do with my tv since I had a 4 post bed and my new house had only a wall to the left or right the post would be in the way of watching TV. Enter someones recommendation to look at TV lifts. I spent days and days searching for the right one that would look elegant enough to put in my bedroom at the foot of my bed that matched décor. I finally saw thing cabinet/lift and thought I'd give it a shot. All I can say is wow... this thing is something that looks like it would come straight out of pottery barn and looks awesome. When you show people they think its the coolest thing ever. It took away from my counter tops and sink that light up at night which used to be the coolest thing in the house.. well, now this lift is. I also thought I had an issue with the lift and Touchstone was quick to send me out a new part which turned out to be my old POS surge protector was the problem... so I know they have great customer service. All in all, this lift is fricken awesome.

Overall I'm fairly happy with the cabinet. The Cigar finish is a bit on the cheap side looks wise for such an expensive product. The construction is sound. My issue came up with customer service which is a bit surprising - it's made in the U.S. which is one reason I bought it. I would have expected them to be bit more responsive. We are renovating and I lost the remote somehow. I contacted them weeks ago and offered to pay for a new one with no response. It's not at all convenient to use the cabinet without it. If they don't respond to this comment, as they haven't with my trying to contact them directly, I'll have to try to figure out a way to create a new remote workaround, which I'm not sure I can do. Customer service for such an expensive product made in the USA is surprising.

This trunk is so cool. It wasn't very hard to put together. We did a lot of research on this before purchasing it and would recommend you buy the component shelf because if you have cable there is no way to use the remote without it unless you buy the infrared. The shelf is better. The company even confirmed our model TV before shipping to make sure it would fit. It's heavy. Be prepared.

So many people have commented on this piece. I use it in the living room and whenever someone sees it, they all seem to want to take it home with them. (I am not giving this up to anyone). I love this and it is high quality made and heavy. Had a slight problem with remote mechanism but I called manufacturer and they sent one right to me and I returned the other one to them. But other than that this piece is a great asset to my home. not to mention conversation piece. Their customer service is superb and they got right on the problem and fixed it.

It’s perfect for our bedroom. We have all windows and no wall space and love to hide the TV not to mention the cool factor when you press the remote and the TV appears and disappears. I also love that the remote and TV open and clothes the top cover. It’s perfect!

I watched this item for 5 years and was finally able to purchase it...It is beautiful! Our lift belt broke during installation but within 3 business days we had a new one for free! (We did return the broken one via UPS with their return prepaid label!) My husband worked with customer service and he said they were fabulous!!! I do not like having a TV in the living room but now, I have a beautiful leather trunk to hide it!

Very cool trunk, very heavy had to hire a coupe of guys to carry it upstairs and to set it up, they couldn't get over how cool it is and had never seen anything like it, they even took pictures of it, i love that when I'm finished watching i just press a button and it looks great with the rest of my furniture. We love it.

We got this for our bedroom and absolutely love it. It’s a perfect addition when we want to watch tv and the perfect piece of furniture when we don’t want to watch or even have the tv visible in the bedroom.
