Great tool.
This is a professional, quality built tool. It is very easy to use. I did have to flip the "ram" to the longer one to accommodate the connectors i was using. Just pull it out. Flip it, and replace it. You will obviosly need to buy compression connectors. I also recommend getting a coaxial cable stripper. Check out you tube for instructional videos.Making up coax cables (something i dreaded doing with crimp style connectors) takes just minutes with this tool.

Worked perfectly
I was moving a cable and had one of those cheap 'twist-on' connectors fall straight off, so I bought some compression connectors (PPC EX6XL PLUS) and this tool to attach them. The tool is sturdy, easy to use, and the crimped connections it makes are rock solid.

This Compression Tool Is Not Perfect, but great for $9 if you need to crimp a few coax cables
I crimped an RG6 cable with and RG6 connector and it did a fairly good job. I will say that when you flip the adjustable tip to the shorter one, the connector can be twisted around a bit, but it does stay put. When you use the longer adjustable tip it will bend the connecter a lot. So to offset, i crimped with the shorter one and crimped just a tad with the longer one. Yes, your connector will bend at the base a bit around the coax, but I doubt that's a big deal.I only needed to crimp 6 ends and this was well worth the $9.

Compression tool
Worked well using a compression connection to repair a coax cable. Probably not used much in a normal household, but cheap enough to maintain in your tool arsenal. Great to have when you need it.

Three Stars
Works OK but could be better quality

Saved me lots of $$
This made my do it yourself project so quick and easy! The cable company was going to charge a small fortune to move my service for my home based office to an unattached building about 60 feet away. With this, the cutter/splicer, some line, and connectors I was able to do it myself for very little $$.

Nice little crimper!
Works! I had to buy this because we found out that our builder never put ends on any of our cable jacks in our new house. Four boxes in the walls with bare end cable wires! This tool was a lifesaver. I crimped all four wires with f connectors that I had already and it worked perfectly.
