Living Canvas: Your Total Guide to Tattoos, Piercings, and Body Modification Paperback – September 1, 2009

Loved it! I finished reasignar it already. It was Just what I was expecting.

Back several years ago, my daughter posed for this book. We both had forgotten about it and when she found it on line we had to order it! Love it.

I guess I hoped for more pictures and explanations of the more complicated body modifications but was let down after opening the front page. This is not what I thought it was. Definitely a book for beginners who know next to nothing about piercing and bodmod.

This is something I seriously wish I would've had when I first got tattooed. It goes into great detail about what to look for in shops, what questions to ask, as well as what to look for in your actual artist. Not only does it go into detail about tattoos, it helps you identify the great majority of piercings and how to care for both your tattoo and piercing, and answers some frequently asked questions about the process of both. I just loved how informative it was when advising what to do before, during, and after your session. I would recommend this book to anyone who doesn't know what to expect their first time, or just for someone interested in the process of tattooing and piercing.
