No cord for the hood
I am giving this a 4 star rating only because there is no cord to tighten the hood as shown in the pictures, it has some elastic at the top but will only close to the face when zipped all the way to the top and even then is loose. This is not a problem for me, I wanted a lightweight windbreaker with hood for winter bike riding along the coast in southern California. I ride at dawn when the temperature is around 40 degrees (F), so, I do not need anything with a fleece liner like most windbreakers with hoods. I just needed something to cut the wind. Since I am wearing a helmet over the hood, the chin strap holds it tight to my face to cover my ears. The vent flaps work great. When I have it zipped up it holds in body heat but does not turn into a sauna, it vents the excess heat out but does not let the wind in when riding. The fit is great. I am 6'1", 240 lbs and normally wear XL in jackets and shirts. I ordered the XL and it fits nicely. I wear it over an athletic shirt and it still leaves a little room to breathe. For the price, this is great. It is very lightweight polyester. I wear it every day, so, it needs to be washed often. I have been using it for a month, which means it has been through about 15 washes (air dry) and it is still as crisp as the day I got itI also like that it has one zippered pocket where I can place my smartphone that I use with Bluetooth speakers to listen to tunes while I ride.

Lightweight
I have had this jacket sine 2014. Excellent for cooler windy days in the south over a shirt. Surprisingly warm for the light weight, and can be rolled and packed easily for travel. Zipper gets weak over time, but can be OK with gentle use. Can wear indoors as a sweater when desired for us older folks. I have 6-8 jackets, and probably wear this more than all the rest. It's been all over the country and still looks good. Rainproof, do not wash.

Nice unisex jacket
I ordered red and received a lovely shade of red, it's not too dark and not too bright. It's a nice unisex shade, that would look good on anyone. I live in the south so rain is certain and I needed something I could keep in my car or throw in my purse for trips. It's thin and doesn't have any lining but wow it holds the heat in, the front panels on each side are vented for breathe ability and it's a nice feature aesthetically anyway. I tower everyone at approximately 5 feet 1" and a mans large fits me nicely and is just the right length, even in the arms. It works great with layers too and isn't too tight. I like the short elastic section on the hood that helps keep it on my head in the wind. The darn thing folds up into itself and zips up in the pocket which is nice. I'm planning on monogramming the breast like is popular nowadays. Will update my review when I get that. This is a nice little jacket, I'm sure to have for a bunch of years.

Excellent Value
There's very little to say about this windbreaker except that it's everything one wants a(n inexpensive) windbreaker to be, and more. I haven't had a chance to test it in the rain, but when I sprayed it with waterproofing, its color remained the same, and the fabric got only a little bit stiffer (as expected for such a lightweight fabric). It has a sturdy zipper with a flap under the closure to ensure wind-proof-ness. The hood has elastic in the area over one's face. One of the two generously sized side pockets is zippered. And the pockets are tacked invisibly with a few stitches to the outer layer so that there are two inside "pockets" that will hold some light, large items like a folded cap, Kleenex, gloves, etc. It arrived very quickly, too.

Nice Lightweight Windbreaker Shell With Modest Water Resistance - Excellent Packable Backup Coat
Very light windbreaker outer shell, with modest water resistance. After some wear, the water resistance might need a little touch-up (I recommend Kiwi brand waterproofing spray). Has almost no thermal insulative properties, so it is best paired with a warmer under layer. Dries quickly, and easily loses wrinkles, with simply hanging on a coat hanger for a half hour. It won't replace a real rain coat, but it's still a nice backup option that's very easily packable in a small space and a lot more comfortable than a disposable poncho.

Really Really Nice but...
I really like this all weather jacket but I had to send it back for a larger size. Due to my pear shape I always buy large outerwear with no problem but these jackets must run small because I couldn't zip mine. My friend ordered one with me at the same time, her body shape is straight with no hips, she's a medium sized person but ordered an extra large and her jacket just fit her. So if you place an order keep in mind they run small. The jacket itself is beautiful and very well made which is why I exchanged mine for an xx large rather than get a refund. I highly recommend it :)

I like this Jacket
I like this Jacket. It is a simple basic jacket for a light rainy or windy day. However it does fit a little too large for my liking, the arm length is perfect, but the body of the jacket is somewhat large. If you are a heavy outdoors person and think you might find yourself in a down pour, I would not recommend this jacket. If you are going to a event or waiting for the bus and don't like carrying a umbrella, this jacket is perfect.for sizing reference, I am a 5'11" 175lb male.

Very Lightweight; But Worth the Buy!!!
This jacket is great for the price. It would be great if the hood had a drawstring, and if the jacket had a snap at the neck and hem. Overall, a great buy. I wear it comfortably with a puffer vest in 40 degree temps.
