Excellent primer that imparts a translucent glow!
I'm so glad that I took a chance on this product, as well as the BB cream in my skin tone by the same line. This is a great primer! A little goes a long way. I apply a little bit of moisturizing oil to my face first (3 drops of Youth to the People's Superberry Glow), plus my favorite eye cream (Kiehl's avocado) and let that absorb a little, then mix a half pump or so of this with a single drop of my moisturizer oil and apply to my face. If I have any areas that need extra attention, I dab a tiny amount of the product that I don't dilute with oil over the spot, and I let it set briefly before I apply the BB cream-which then goes on so smoothly and beautifully, it's like it's magnetically charged to stick to the primer! The Perfect Cover BB cream (I use no.21) is an excellent match to my skin tone, and goes on so well! It provides a perfect amount of coverage, but allows for my freckles and real skin to show through, and the luminescent quality of the primer combined imparts a dewy, youthful glow. My skin looks enhanced, rather than covered up, and I have experienced no problems with breakouts or clogged pores after using the products for about a month. I am 44, very fair, and protect my skin well from the sun. I am told often that I look younger than I am, and while I am not sure that is true, I do not have any real wrinkles at this point, except for some fine lines between my brows and on my forehead (which have markedly improved with the use of 2 retinol products!). I do moisturize my face daily and (nearly) nightly, but my skincare regimen is really imperfect otherwise. I am so tired at night I often just use a face wipe to remove makeup, instead of really washing my face. I do a deep wash with my clarisonic 2-3 times a week (more often can cause me redness and irritation) and I use a great salicylic acid exfoliating product daily/every other day, depending on my skin's response. I'm picky about my skin care and cosmetic products and willing to spend money on one when I like it, and this is one I will keep using! I was using Dr. Jart's Black Label BB cream for years, and they have changed their product line recently and the one I was using is not available anymore. This, with the Perfect Cover BB Cream, is superior to the product that I was using, and is less expensive than the UD primer and BB cream I had used for years. My skin looks better than ever, and I can use this in cold and hot weather (which wasn't true about the other products I had used-I had to have separate regimens for summer and winter!) and my skin looks equally great, and there's SPF in the BB Cream! If you're considering it, buy it, now! You will love it!

Interesting Product - I Like It
BB boomer is a makeup primer that will help your foundation look better and wear longer. My skin is very sensitive and has always been fairly clear and even (except for lupus rashes), so I never used anything like this. However, I bought this for two reasons: First, because I am a new MISSHA convert. I bought a foundation cushion, and it works so beautifully on my skin that I also bought a BB cream and this BB boomer. I should mention here that what I paid for ALL THREE products doesn't come close to even half what I paid for a bottle of Chanel foundation formulated for women of a certain age. And the MISSHA cushion is much, much nicer and easier to work with. Second, because I was hoping (it turns out correctly) that I would be able to mix this with the other foundations and BB creams I have recently bought. Every last one of them is too dark for my skin. I have lupus, and I have to stay out of any kind of UV lighting. No sun. No indoor FLs. I am crazy pale. I have to wear sunscreen all the time, and as I have started aging, having a little extra moisture and coverage has become - well, not necessary, really - I mean, who cares, mostly - but desirable, in terms of not having people look at me like, oh you poor thing. So, for a tiny pittance, I can still use some of what I bought when I was shopping for something that would protect my skin and not make me look old and tired. The ingredients include powdered gems, including pearls, and the finish is indeed pearlescent. I like it, but it might not be for someone who is younger and still shinier. Even then, you might like this as a highlighter. Animal testing happens, as it does with any product exported to China (the last country that requires animal testing). Korea plans to ban animal testing in the very near future. The ingredients are of low concern to no concern, per most websites. Here is the list of them: Water, Cyclopentasiloxane, Cyclohexasiloxane, Butylene Glycol, Glycerin, Mica (CI 77019), PEG-10 Dimethicone, Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Niacinnamide, Pentylene Glycol, Disteardimonium Hectorite, Diamond Powder, Moringa Oleifera Seed Oil, Ruby Powder, Amethyst Powder, Pearl Powder, Tourmaline, Chrysanthemum Morifolium Flower Extract, Jasminum Officinale (Jasmine) Extract, Platinum Powder, Dicaprylyl Carbonate, Magnesium Sulfate, Methyl Methacrylate Crosspolymer, Triethoxycaprylylsilane, Ethylhexyl Glycerin, Acrylates/Dimethicone Copolymer, Adenosine, Mannan, Squalane, Polymethylsilsesquioxane, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Tocopherol, Talc, Disodium EDTA, Phenoxyethanol, Fragrance(Parfum).

Smooths and softens skin
Missha's BB cream has been my holy grail for over a decade. I decided to order this product based on the description that it would enhance and prolong the wear of my BB cream. It is really lightweight, with only a slight tint. Its pearlescent formula is noticeable on application. It gives a soft illuminating glow to the skin that is also hydrating. The BB cream does glide on a lot easier when layered on top of this product. Even though I never dealt with much cakiness with the BB cream, this boomer ensures I wouldn't get any caking in areas of drier or rougher patches. I do notice a longer wear time as well. Because my skin is dry I didn't notice the longevity of a dewy effect. But overall my skin is softer. I've tried other primers, in which the dewiness extends, however, for the price and size of this, it's a great addition to a makeup routine.

I decided to try primer for a couple reasons. First it's been an insanely hot summer and I've been finding that the little amount of make up I wear (mainly BB cream) was feeling oily and rubbing off before I even left the house. And Second I'm almost 40 and I've been noticing more fine lines and uneven skin tone and I want to avoid using a more full coverage foundation as long as I can. This primer has helped with those needs. While obviously primer can't stop sweating during summer heat it has helped to keep the oily sheen to a minimum. I feel like my skin has a dewy look but not greasy or oily. And when I apply my BB cream it has much better coverage for those fine lines and red spots and it stays put longer. At first I wasn't sure it was making a difference but I forgot to put it on under my BB cream yesterday for the first time and that's when I realized how good of a job it was really doing. I will definitely keep using this and will recommend it!

At first I really wasn't sure if this primer actually did anything. It does help my missha BB cream last marginally longer however it also makes my t-zone shinier than if I just applied BB cream over my existing skin care regime. 4 stars because for the first 2 hours my makeup looks amazing and imperfections minimized.
