super durable and long lasting softness
I bought these all the way back in 2018 because I have hard wood floors and my youngest was learning to stand and I did not want them bonking their head too hard on said floors. I am pleased to tell anyone that these have truly lasted. In fact they are still soft after all these years and still protecting all of my family's heads ,shoulders, knees and toes. They started peeling last year after 6 years of being in the most trafficked, most played on, most spilled on space in the house. They have held up admirably. I cannot recommend these highly enough.

Great Product, very versatile!
My wife and I ordered a 25 pack of the gray tiles. When I received them I was very happy with the quality of the material. It was just the right density, not to squishy, not too firm. if you step on it with all your weight on your heels, you will feel yourself sink into it a little bit. If you stand normal, you barely notice that you sink into it, yet if feels very forgiving. Our usage of it is not quiet the normal. We recently added Movnat training into our routine. It involves a lot of time on the ground. Working from seated positions and transitioning into other movements such as lunges without using the hands to get up. Also, a lot of rolling flips, crawls, jumps, etc. with an emphasis on smooth, unhurried controlled movements. The knees and elbows spend a lot of time in contact with the floor doing this. We wanted something firm enough that it doesn't feel like moving in sand where you sink in, but cushioned enough that the occasional not so smooth movement would be forgiving on the knees and elbows. The density and thickness have been perfect for our needs. We have a one car garage at our apartment and there isn't a lot of extra parking available, so we need to pull one car into the garage every night. I wanted to try these tiles and just deal with putting them down for workouts, then picking them up when we are done. What we found was a perfect solution. We arranged them into a square 5 tiles wide and 5 tiles long. The puzzle connections go together and come apart very smoothly while holding firm once in position. We were able to figure out a method for putting them down and taking them up in just 3-4 minutes. We leave one row of 5 tiles down because its not in the way of our car parking., We start with the opposite side of the square and just put our fingers under the tile and remove the puzzle connection in a row. So basically I take it up like a 10 foot long seam and I have a row of 5 tiles that are connected to each other, and I lean that row up on the wall. I repeat this and end up with 4 rows of 5 tiles leaning on the wall. Then when its time to put them back down, I put them down in rows of 5. It is very fast, very easy, and the tiles do not warp or bend with doing this. Each time I put it down it looks as smooth as the first time I put it down. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a high quality foam flooring option.

Reduce Noise; Spare Impact on Joints; Extra Cushion to Spare Pain on Knees; Bigger Workout Space
I started P90X3 and there's a workout that requires you to jump. These mats help four fold, 1) muffle sound; 2) reduce impact on joints; 3) reduces stress on knees; and 4) provides a larger space than a yoga mat. 1. I live in a condo highrise and while I was doing a workout at 5 am I noticed I was making a lot of noise that could potentially wake my below neighbor(s). This caused me to not workout as hard to help reduce noise, which is counterproductive for my workout. However, if you lived in a house this would also help in reducing noise if you're an earlier riser who enjoys working out first thing. 2. Some of my workouts require me to jump a lot for plyometric. Having a mat helps reduce stress on my knee and hip joints. Stuff I didn't think about in my youth and now that I'm moving into my middle ages, I think about more b/c my body won't let me forget. 3. When you kneel, your knees will thank you. Sorry, yoga or jump mats just donโt provide enough cushion for your knees. I found these to be perfect and they donโt leave any residual grid or other marks from the mat in my knees โunforeseen perk. 4. Lastly, thereโs more space โb/c sometimes you just need more space to move around. I started with 36 squ. feet, i.e., a 6 ft by 6 ft area. I will be adding an extra foot โchanging to 49 squ. feet or 7x7ft. Iโm adding additional due to agility routines I use, it provides more space and I wonโt fear leaping off the mat. Also, there is nothing worse than being on a warm mat and your leg/arm or other appendage touches the cold floor. These also breakdown easy, so you don't have to leave them up 24/7 if you choose. You can also roll your area rug over the mat and it just provides more cushion and noise control, which is what I do. I highly recommend them. One down size is if you have a dog โyouโll have hair all over it. You may need to wash down the mats every so often. The company was prompt with the delivery. No complaints.

Great product. Would have been 5 stars if it weren't for that one darn split!
Purchased this product for my 10-month old son to play on since he recently became mobile and is crawling and pulling himself up on anything he seems. As his Spidey-sense for danger is pretty much nil, it's time to lock this guy up to protect him from himself. All in all, the product really does a good job in serving its purpose. My son has had his fair share of falls and he's bounced right back up with no bumps or bruises. The mat retains its' original shape after placing your foot on it. If you're expecting this to cover the entire floor, then I would highly suggest you not because the mat does absorb your body heat so you shouldn't expect it to have a cool comforting feel to it. Appearance-wise it looks very kiddy and not make it feel so much like a gym that you can have this placed in your living room (paired with a playground gate) and still have it feel like "home". My only gripe about this mat was that the edges do not have a standard edge to it, but instead it has more of a puzzle like edge to it (for customization for fitting). For kids, this is the chink in the armour that they are able to take advantage. The weak spot to the Death Star, the fragile opening of the alien spaceship in Independence Day, not to mention the weak spot in 10 Cloverfield Lane. To avoid that problem, our playground gate does not crossover any edge pieces. I haven't determined whether this is more due to strained used to certain pieces of the mat (children love one spot sometimes) or the fact that we have this placed on top of carpet. But, there is a section of our mat where the pieces just spread apart like two tectonic plates pulling apart from each other. I tried realigning all the pieces, but that one section just won't stick together like how it did a few weeks ago. I'll give the manufacturer the benefit of the doubt and just blame it on our carpet not being leveled thereby causing this "split". Other than that, I would have given it 5 stars. Cleaning the pieces with a wet towel was pretty simple and just took 30 minutes to dry.

These are a good value. But not the best.
Good value compared.to.others out there but these are not the best as far as quality control and maintenance. I'm not unhappy with the purchase because these are less expensive than most others out there. However, you get what you pay for. -They dont interlock seamlessly, it takes some use for them to really interlock, I believe the weight pushes them into eachother. - They are a good thickness and they serve the purpose. We have them in our playroom. - We ordered about 25, all dark blue and there were 3 different shades of blue. 2 shades were ok, we could live with the difference, but the darkest shade was just super different. We called, the company was great and fast in getting us taken care off. We provided a picture and they acknowledged the huge difference. We ordered a few light blue to liven up the room, because the original all dark blue looked like a gym and we wanted a different look. - We wipped them with Clorox wipes upon opening them as we laid them, so we know they are clean, but the look dusty, even though they aren't. The darker colors will show this "dustiness" more, the lighter blue doesn't really show this as much. We dont wear shoes in our house so they are mostly clean, but the look dirty all the time, that took some adjusting to. -They show lines and dent marks right away and I mean the first day, we put our mini kids play table on the mats, to see where we wanted it and marks were there. Not horrible dent marks but they are there. So in conclusion, we like them for the purpose of our playroom, hopefully they last for our needs.

Even better than expected
I ordered the olive colored mats, but was pleasantly surprised when they arrived being not the drab, dark olive pictured on the website, but instead were a nice light-sage color. The interlocking tiles fit together very securely and don't pull apart whatsoever when I do aerobics on them. I've had them for a couple of weeks, and doing aerobics at least once a day and having our small dog walk on them haven't affected the tiles at all. Good shock absorption. I bought 6 of the tiles and combined them into a mat made of 2 rows consisting of 3 tiles each -- ample size for putting the mat in front of the TV and "doing" an aerobics video. Some reviewers of some other brands complained about chemical odor. That would have been a deal-breaker for me, but this brand had a very slight "new product" smell when I first opened the package; I left them outside overnight, and then even that slight smell was gone. They're a breeze to put together and take apart. When I'm not using the mat for aerobics, I just cover it with the throw rug in front of the tv or split the mat into two separated rows and stash them behind the couch. Glad I bought these. Especially helpful during the pandemic, while the gyms are closed.

Perfect thinkness
Very well made tiles that don't smell. They are the perfect thickness and density for stuff like the P90 and Insanity series. They come with removable edges that finish off the perimeter. This is the RIGHT product to get for your workout area. Mine were packed in sealed plastic, 4 to a pack, and three packs to a box. So for instance if you buy 12 you get 1 box, 16 you get one full box and one box with one pack of 4. The boxes are only slightly bigger than the contents. I would not put any such product over unsealed concrete so take note. The best concrete seal is from sanitred, expensive but the best in the world and the concrete must not have any other sealer on it. One note. Before you tear off "ending edges" notice that some are connected on the corner to the next side. If you pull these apart the wrong way you may not be able to put the edges back on another piece completely since the little like 1 inch corner piece has nothing to hold on to. So you take the the two side off intact. The best way to do this is to decide which are all the edges from the start and make sure the puzzle all fits together. Then put the outside pieces together first, leaving the center pieces as center pieces (that you will remove the finished edges ) and as spare edges pieces if you made a mistake.

Good for exercising
Good for exercising I purchased this item to offer some protection to my floor (porcelain tiles) and feet. These are probably not as tick and durable (thick )as the ones you find in most gyms, but they have done a good job for me and live up to my expectations. I like the flexibility with being able to assembly / put them together; I purchased the amount to fit the area where I exercise. If you live in an apartment or small house these will help keeping the noise down when you exercise, especially if you do so early in the morning when most people are sleeping. The only con I have is it is not so easy to remove and put back together, I have to do this every couple of weeks to clean the floor. When doing so the mats some time fall apart and you have to reassemble them. Another thing the corner of the mats get damage easily and fall off permanently, not really an issue though, I guess it will only be if you are picky about the looks. This review was written after about six months of constant usage.
