Toyota Genuine Parts - Armrest, Kit (08471-35820-B0)

I took a chance and ordered this for my 2007 Fj and it works just fine. Installation is easy. You have to pry off the plastic cap that covers the arm rest hole on the passenger seat. Then align the square hole on the arm rest with the square hole in the side of the seat, install and tighten the bolt, put the arm rest cap on an that's it. One thing I had to do was to re-align the square hole in the arm rest so the arm rest works in the proper position (up and then down horizontally). It's kind of difficult to explain but you might have to make this adjustment when you go to install it. The arm rest makes traveling a lot more pleasurable.

This arm rest was a great fit took about 40 seconds to install matched the interior color perfect and functions well. Installed on a 2012 FJ Cruiser.

Doesn't fit 2008 FJ cruiser as they mentioned in description, now I have pay for return, so ridiculous, its unacceptable to pay for other stupid. I have to pay for shipping fee, now have to pay for 1 more time to return this. If Amazon allow 0 star, I would give this seller 0 star. Should show other side of photo. OMG.... Not recommend this seller. Absolutely a Big NO NO

Looks like factory product because it's a genuine Toyota part! Installed in 10 minutes on my 2012 FJ.

Part number 08471-35801-B0 is the correct part for older models with the dimond shaped connection point underneath the plastic cap on the passanger seat. I called the seller to maek sure but was still skeptical I would recive the correct part. Well worth the money. Installed in 30 seconds.

This is a Toyota OEM armrest for the FJ cruiser. The dealership wanted to charge me $109 for the armrest and an installation charge on top of that. It literally took me 2 minutes to install myself, requires a 13mm socket if I remember correctly. It fit my 2012 FJ as well if you are wondering. Just doublecheck to make sure you have the right one by pulling that cap off your seat and verify that you have the square insert. This one is for the square insert.

Received wrong arm rest as description stated for 2008-2012. The one I received was for 2013 and newer fj with round hole. The part number is incorrectly listed on amazon as for 2008-2012. The the part number 08471-35820-BO is for 2013 and newer fj's with round hole. Also the build quality of the arm rest that i had received is very poor not like something that would come out of a Toyota factory the build quality is just not there. The correct part number for square hole passenger arm rest is 72880-35022-B1 which fits 2007-2012.

Fits the square peg insert model FJ, check if your FJ has square insert, this will fit it. And despite what Amazon says, this will fit a 2007 FJ. Ps, Toyota you are cheap for making us buy this arm rest that my 14 yr old lil sisters Hyundai has stock.
