GoPro AHDEH-301 Dive Housing Bundle with Cover and Accessories, 197 feet (GoPro Official Accessory)

This housing provides an extra sense of security when diving with your GoPro. I recently used this housing with my GoPro Hero 3+ Silver Edition while scuba diving in Grenada. The housing worked FLAWLESSLY, aside from a small leak one time which was ENTIRELY my own fault (a moisture muncher had gotten caught in the seal). I feel safe taking this housing all the way down to 130ft of salt water without any concern.Like any waterproof item, the key to keeping the item waterproof is to check, double check, and triple check any gaskets and o-rings for obstructions, tears, debris, etc., and replace as necessary.

If you're going to add the Backscatter Flip3.1 filters, get this housing! The latch is different from the standard housing, and doesn't require you to stick on an extra piece of metal to be able to open the housing. Be aware though if you're using a Hero4 Silver with the built-in LCD screen that there are still older housings in the pipeline where the standard waterproof door that comes with this housing has a piece of felt right across the middle of the screen. GoPro has an updated door that they will send you though if you contact support and show proof of purchase. This isn't a factor if you're using the add-on LCD BacPac -- it comes with a deep door with no visual obstruction. For some reason I can't figure out though, the Dive housing comes with a Skeleton back door-- obviously not waterproof...

I bought this for scuba diving, since I was diving at about 90' I wanted to be 'better safe than sorry'. The regular housing should be fine for that depth but I didnt want to take the chance with my GoPro - for no good reason I should add.The added bonus of using this dive housing is that you can fit the magenta or red filters - these are essential to maintain color balance due to the depth. If you are 30' or less then use the magenta filter, if you are going deeper than 30' then use the red filter.The security this housing gave me was worth the money and when combined with filter and 'anti-fog' inserts gave me some great footage of my dives.

Used this case on a 110ft scuba dive. I was a bit skeptical (with any electronics and water) even after testing it in my sink, but it held up perfectly. Go pro still works! In my opinion that makes this a great product.

I chose this seller's Dive Case for two reasons. One the heavier duty case was ideal for deeper diving, so it was suited my use in motorsports. Two, the seller's description specifically mentioned the item including the three accessory backdoors (Dive, Skeleton & Backpack). They delivered on one of the two. The case is beefier, but it was missing two back doors, the skeleton and backpack. It came only with the Sealed Dive Door! I will say for a used item, it was in excellent condition.

Fit and finish are fine, this is actually a GoPro case not a cheap knock off. Read complaints of leaking ... people. ...YOU NEED TO TO LUBE THE RUBBER SEAL WITH SILICONE GREASE!!!!!! I read piles of complaints from divers or people that call themselves divers that complain about leaking o-rings our gaskets. Make sure the gaskets are free of debris, well lubricated with silicone grease, and stay within the recommended depth limit. Meaning you should not be putting your camera in the case on the boat flopping around ... anyway works good I'd recommend it for anyone with more than four brain cells lol ....Also once you get much past 90 feet in depth if using it for diving, the pressure pushes in the back side of the case and forces it to push the power button. Mine will not turn on at all at 100' in depth...fyi

I Love this Housing, it's identical to the Wrist Housing, but you can mount this Housing on any of your accessories, this housing provides extra security and confidence that your GoPro can handle any watersports and dive in the ocean. The extra accessories that came with it is awesome. Here is the rundown on it1. Dive housing2. BacPac Door for your Battery Pac3. Skeleton Door4. BacPac Touch Door for LCD, can dive 10m in water, in other words, don't plan on using it in any water besides the pool.5. DO NOT BUY. I bought this case as I was going to Praslin, Seychelles to dive for a full week. I made sure everything from the latch to the o-ring is closed properly and free from any cracks anywhere. The first time I took it underwater, salt water leaked in and killed the GoPro Hero 4 immediately! I was planning to do a small documentary on coral bleaching and the effects of climate change on the oceans. However, with the GoPro dead from the first dip, the entire trip was a waste! All because of this case! I am so disappointed with this choice from GoPro.. I strongly recommend against it! I was even thinking of buying another GoPro while on the island but there is no store that sells it here so I am completely out of options! I did another test after the GoPro was dead to see if the case was the problem, so I filled this dive case with some water and closed it, I also did the same with the original GoPro case that comes with the camera... I shook both as hard as I can, and as expected, water drop were coming out of this dive case, but not from the original case. This shows that the build quality of this case is horrible! There should not be any water leaking! Please do not buy this if you don't want your GoPro to get flooded with water! I really hope GoPro sees this review and takes an action to repair this model for other people.. it is a shame that all my memories are lost because of this case :(

This looked like a simple enough product not to screw up but this one leaked every dive. Not a huge leak but enough to have noticeable water in the case and due to heat of the camera filming creates condensation on the lens. I tried everything from checking the Oring, proper closing, absorbent pads etc. Just never worked. Save your money and get a better one.

Bought for a family member who is an avid GoPro user. It was used on holiday, in and out of sea water. Produced great images, and no sign of water leakage. Also a good price for this version of the housing.

Ich habe nach einem Tauchgehäuse für meine Go Pro Hero 4 silver gesucht und bin hier fündig geworden. Die Kundenrezessionen haben mich erst sehr verunsichert (da hier uneinigkeit herschte), aber durch intenive Nachforschungen auf der Go Pro Seite konnte ich feststellen das, dass Tauchgehäse sehr wohl kompatibel mit Hero 3 und 4 Kameras ist.Das Produkt habe ich gestern erhalten und sofort geteset. Also die Hero 4 passt sehr wohl in das Gehäuse und die gummi Dichtung lässt kein Wasser eindringen! (da ich das selbst mittels Wassertest und Eintauchen getestet habe). Das Gehäuse ist auch unter Wasser gut zu bedienen.Diverse Backpaks sind im Liferumfang enthalten welche sich austauschen lassen (1 mal Wasserdicht auf 60m und 1 mal Backdoor offen)GoPro sendet aber über den Service (bisher kostenlos) einen passenden Deckel, wenn die Seriennummer angegeben wird!

Buena carcasa, la compré porque hago buceo recreativo y me daba un poco de miedo usar la que viene con la cámara. No la he llegado a probar a 60 metros (ni la probaré) pero si a 40 y no entra nada de agua.La pega es la de todos los articulos de GoPro, su precio inexplicablemente caro.
