Proof Eyewear Unisex Ontario Pear Skate Wood Sunglasses Handcrafted Water Resistant

I purchased these as I've really been digging wood sunglasses and wanted something light weight and stylish, and these really appealed to my inner skater-dude of my youth. I heard of some fellow Idahoans that started up Proof, and wanted to support a company from our state.Firstly, I do want to say that this pair fits my head nice and looks great. I will probably find myself wearing these more than my metal frame Ray Bans.But...I bought these to support Idaho (and the USA) and was hoping to see some sort of "Buy Idaho" or state logo stamp or engraving. Unfortunately...it's engraved with "china" in lower case. I was a bit sad.

These are AMAZING! Perfect for your fellow skaters or anyone wanting some added style. The quality of these shades is far beyond what I thought they would be! They fit amazingly! Very well put together! The hinges flex out for a little flexibility. The Polarized lenses are great! The box it comes in is very nice! All the details and branding are laser engraved to perfection! The microfiber bag, the box, the shades.. All very nice products. You can tell they put forth the effort. Definitely a customer for life!

Didn't rest well on the bridge of my nose and stuck out too far. Really didn't like the way it sat on my face. Too blocky. Glasses appeared much darker but are pretty light. To be honest the lenses weren't what I was expecting either. Little disappointed.. I'm sure there are some decent models that Proof has, but as for the Ontario it's 3 stars for me. I would give it one for the frames themselves but the packaging was really cool and they were prompt to deliver.

My son wanted these for xmas and was thrilled with them on Christmas day. Love the colors, well made, fit nicely.
