Theses are stiff initially, then they soften after several washings. I don’t put fabric softer in their wash because it keeps them from absorbing, and after the wash I lay them flat on the washer to dry. Beautiful fabric, obviously 60s and almost no wrinkles when dried flat. I have many brands of handkerchiefs but after several washings these are the best. They are also very pretty

Well I like having handkerchiefs in my bag instead of tissues. My nose constantly runs unfortunately. They are prettier, more feminine and better for the earth. There were many to choose from on Amazon. Lots of Styles, pieces per package, and prices. I looked for cotton ones only. These work for all intensive purposes, but I did not feel like they were 100% cotton, and that they were scratchy. Not exactly helpful for a delicate nose and eye area. Over the winter I used them alot to blow my nose and they just hurt after a while. I've switched over to a bamboo based cotton and will see if my luck is better this time.

I purchased these handkerchiefs in bulk to give away at our daughter's wedding to our guests. They are what I expected from a bulk purchase - the fabric is thin but softens well with washing. They will need very little ironing - a plus for me. The embroidery is done by machine but looks very nice on the right side.

Love, Love, LOVE these! They do have a bit of a "smell" when you receive them, but this goes away after a wash or two. These are very soft and I have no need to iron them to make them lay flat. The are also very pretty - the embroidery looks so good on both sides it is often difficult to tell which side is "up". I bought several types of hankies at the same time, but these have become my go-to. I will be buying a new set today.

Really cute for a little girl. My 7 year old had fun putting a pretty hanky in her little purse as she went out to a special event or to churchy.Obviously too small for a grown woman.

Very pretty. Just what I was looking for. Haven't washed them yet so I am not sure how they will hold up. That is the reason for only 4 stars.

It is wonderful to find real ladies handkerchiefs in pretty colors with little embroidery on them.And the really nice part is that they don't wrinkle very much! They come out of the dryer ready to fold.(Many of the cheaper options out there are horribly crumpled and require ironing after washing!)

I bought these for a friend. The are really thin and small. So they don't really work all that well. I can't really say I'd recommend them.
