Field Guide to Wisconsin Streams: Plants, Fishes, Invertebrates, Amphibians, and Reptiles

I bought this book to assist me in aquatic insect identification and information relative to fly fishing. I found that this book is very helpful, and not esoteric. The layman will be able to easily follow and understand the descriptions and style of writing. I purchased this book used for a fraction of the cover price and it is very worth it.

A must have for anyone who spends a lot of time on streams, especially if you are interested in a bit more than just catching trout.

Detailed descriptions of all stream related Wisconsin species with everything you'd expect from pictures to habitats to male/vs/female including poisonous, endangered, body structure etc. ... A great book on Wisconsin wildlife. It's like a bird identification book but for stream wildlife.

Heard the authors on WPR and ordered it immediately. Something that those of us who teach and/or are interested in nature have been waiting for! I highly recommend this easy-to-use, full of great photos and information guide to beginners and experts alike!!
