Fantastic
These are great quality and actually fit my hands. I'm a 5'7" woman so most glove don't fit but these in small are perfect. I can actually reach to the bottom of the tank and move things without fear of getting wet and cut. They are grippy on the outside and very thick plastic or whatever on the outside. There is also a layer of fabric inside that makes the gloves nice to wear, not like plastic gloves that feel instantly slimy.

Good Aquarium Gloves
Bought these to wear when working in my aquariums and I really like them. The Med size fits my medium women hands. So I would go for a larger size if you're a dude. Features I like: Able reach the bottom of a large tank without getting water into the gloves. Keeps what's in the tank off my skin (like bacteria and fish poo) Keeps what's on my skin out of the tank (like soap and lotion) Can feel things with my fingers through the gloves. Able to hold on to heavy objects because they have good gripping ability. Can easily hold trimmers, scissors and planting tweezers. Highly recommend these for aquarium use. Update: I've been using the same gloves for over 2 years with no problems. Very happy with the quality. 2nd update: going on 4 years now and the gloves are still working great!

If these ever do actually wear out, I hope that I can find the same ones to replace them! Might be a long time coming...
Great gloves, easy on/off compared to others, and they fit over sleeves without a problem. I do a lot of Tie Dye, and I keep a 5 gallon bucket of Soda Ash for soaking the items prior to dyeing. These gloves are great for adding and removing items even from the bottom of the bucket. Rinse off well, and then I just clip them on a skirt hanger over the sink to dry. Seem to be holding up very well with lots of use. If they ever do wear out, I would definitely hope to be able to replace them with the same gloves.

4.7 Review! Great gloves. The hand and fingers could be just a little bit bigger for me.
I just got them in. They seem like they're good quality. They have a nice grommet hole in them so you can hang them up and a hook. The sleeve is nice and long and the lining in it is nice. ( I guess I like the word "nice" today!๐) The only reason I didn't give it a five-star is because the hand is slightly small. I'm a small girl but I'm tall. My hands are not big but my fingers are longer. These are still sufficient and will work but they're a little on the small side I would have preferred slightly bigger. But it will probably work for most people! I'd like to give it a 4 7!

Great for cleaning aquarium for large (potentially biting) fish.
I bought these to clean my fish tank very effective and safe. I have large blood parrot that is quite friendly until you try to clean her tank. She does not like siphons invading her living space and messing it up after she has put the sand and other objects just where she wanted them. She is not able bite me with these on. the tank is deep and these easily keep my arm covered up to my shoulder and stay put. They are comfortable, easy to move and grip with. I am a woman I bought medium and they fit fine. The only draw back is they have a metal eyelet near the top facing the inside part of the arm. I stay dry most of the time however, if my fish startles me by charging and I am looking away i do occasionally get a little water inside the glove. I really could just ignore her there is no chance she could bite me but she does have a hard strike and it she still manages to "get' me any way. If I did not wear gloves she could take a small chunk out of me as I found out when she was a baby.

Very useful in a commercial kitchen environment...your dish room folks will thank you...!
I have run kitchens in healthcare settings for over 15 years. I have never minded jumping into the dish room to help run dishes, or helping out with pots and pans. Does it get gross? Yes. Does the skin on your hands and arms get irritated and angry after a full shift in commercial detergents? Yes. Do these gloves help? YES! I LOVE that they go up over my elbow, about midway between my elbow and shoulder, and the elastic at the top keeps the water from dripping down my arms, defeating the purposes of wearing gloves. The length is particularly helpful when I am reaching into the garbage disposal, pulper, or dish machine drain. (NOTE: Yes, these items are powered off, and locked down before I do that...these gloves will not prevent your hand from being mangled if you forget to do so, that's not their purpose!) I love that the texture on the actual hand part of the gloves is nubby and rough...I am sometimes able to "scrub" dishes with my hands, and I can grip slippery items, like glasses, without worrying about dropping things. They are also pretty tough, as I haven't had one develop a hole yet. (I probably could if I handled broken glass, china, or knives improperly, though.) The only "con" I can think of is they will begin to smell, just like anything that is left wet...kind of like a mop head that hasn't been changed in a week, or the wet cleaning cloth hamper. I turn them inside out and run them through a clean dish machine regularly, and hang them up to dry. If I still notice an odor, then I will turn them inside out and spray them with a mild bleach solution (50ppm) and let them dry in the sun.

Not great for working in a dish pit
I really wish I could recommend these. They're comfortable, fit well, and grip nicely to dish and cookware. However, after a relatively short amount of time (~ a week or two of use or so in my experience) they start to smell something awful. Despite the tag saying they weren't safe for a washing machine I tried a few different settings to wash them because I couldn't stand the smell. Each time the rubber would get weak and end up tearing. My fault for washing them, no biggie, just gonna order another pair. After 6 pairs in the past year I have to give up. The latest pair ripped after less than 6 shifts without washing them. Great gloves if you're not going to use them regularly, but look elsewhere if you're looking for gloves for working in a dish pit.

Durable and long lasting.
I'm writing this review 9 years after purchase. After all this time, I have some breakdown of the yellow rubbery coating on the tip of one finger of the right glove. These have held up great for my infrequent use for pulling leaves out of my skimmers and pool during the winter. I'm buying another set right now. These were great!

Perfect for aquarium
Nothing better for aquarium maintenance! These are a game changer if you need both protection and dexterity. These gloves are durable and well-made, also thin enough for gentle tasks like removing hair algae. They do not leak and are comfortable to wear. I noticed no smell or oil/residue that could pollute a tank. They are not as thin as surgical gloves but still allow for fine, detailed movement. Compared to the usual brand of full-arm aquarium gloves these offer ten times the functionality.

Great protection (Do go up a size though)
The inner lining goes all the way up the sleeve, offering great heat protection. Despite the multiple seams the gloves are completely waterproof which is just what I needed. I read another review saying to go up a size from what you normally wear & I'm so glad I did, the fit is perfect, almost like a second skin, so much so, the hardest thing about them can be trying to get them off, haha. The elastic at the top of the sleeves helps them to stay mostly in place, they do still slip a little, but far less than I've experienced with lower quality shoulder length gloves. They do have a little ring hole in each glove which I'm thinking about fashioning a strap to go through & connect them over my shoulder blades to help with this though.
