The Only Product to Make a REAL Difference for my Dry and Peeling Nails
I have tried dozens of hand lotions, cuticle creams and oils. All trying to find one product that I thought worked better for my ragged cuticles and peeling splitting nails than regular lotion. I've tried everything at the drug store, I've tried Nail Tek, I have even splurged on OPI and to be honest while they aren't bad products they didn't really do a much better job than the lotion. They certainly didn't do much to improve my nail beds or soothe my cuticles in the long run. Cutemol is quite comparatively expensive to most of these products at first glance but I finally decided I wanted to try it because it seemed to me that Summers Laboratories knows what they're doing and approaches nail and skin care from a very scientific point of view. If anything could actually help, I thought, it had to be this. It does have a major shortcoming. I wondered if I should subtract a star but ultimately I decided I still loved it in spite of it's issue. You see the consistency of this cream is almost reminiscent of marshmallow fluff. It is similarly pretty sticky. Not quite marshmallow sticky but if you rub this all over your hand then you will not want to touch anything for a little bit. After about 20 minutes is absorbs almost completely in and leaves nothing but a very soft vaguely waxy feeling which is only annoying near touch screens and then after that fully absorbs. This is the kind of lotion that is probably best applied before bed and then covered by a glove or fingertip protector so you can go about your business and let it absorb all night. That might sound a bit overkill but you will be amazed at the difference if you do that. My whole hand's texture has changed. My hands even look younger! The skin has a youthful texture and the skin has plumped up giving an almost "hand model" appearance. I can't stop looking at my hands and nails. It has immediate results on your nail beds as well. It will hydrate your cuticles but it will also absorb into your nail bed and lend it increased flexibility after application. You won't experience even better results than that for 4-8 weeks when your nails have grown out more and you can tell the difference in the newly grown out nail. My nails used to split and crack as soon as they left the edge of my finger but after regular application of cutemol they are much more resilient and resistant to splitting. I did purchase this with Summers Laboratories Dermanail product as well so I am sure that product has helped as well and I recommend if you are getting this for nail issues to get that product as well. Both take weeks to work and are comparatively expensive but it is a great deal because you actually get RESULTS. I have tried everything, rejuvacote, nail envy, every sally hansen thing under the sun, and while some of them are nice products and cheaper than Summers Labs products they do not provide the drastically improved results that these products have given me. Cutemol and Dermanail are also much larger volumes than you are used to getting with nail products. This is 8 ounces compared with the normal .5 ounces that most cuticle conditioners come in. So actually it IS cheaper. And Cutemol goes a looong way with just a little bit. Dermanail too is much larger than the nail treatments you're used to getting. It is 1 oz and you only need one drop per nail per treatment. I encourage you to just stop searching and buy this stuff. It is on another level.

Thick, effective, but funky scent!
With regard to texture, this is exactly what I envisioned when I went on a quest to find the thickest cream I could get without resorting to slathering room-temperature lard on my dry T2 skin. Most lotions are too light, too watery, too thin, too runny and useless. Most creams are slightly better in that it's not as light or as watery or as thin or as runny as lotion, but I've found that most creams are still just ok at best. I've tried a LOT of creams for my dry skin. A LOT. Like a whole LOT. Then I finally got around to ordering this brand and this...THIS...is the THICK and occlusive vibe that I had always imagined existed. Helpful hints: 1. Apply right after a bath, shower or after just washing your hands or feet. A bit of moisture already on the skin makes this work that much better from the get go. 2. A little goes a long way. Start out with a dab, then add more as needed. Too much and it will leave a distinct white cast and you'll either have to wipe it on another area you weren't planning on covering or you'll have to wipe off the excess altogether. 3. It's not going to absorb in quickly like a lotion or lighter-formula cream so don't expect it to. It will remain a bit tacky for a spell. 4. If using on feet or hands - put socks or cotton gloves over it before going to bed for added relief. 5. There is "fragrance" added, which I'm totally opposed to for 99.99 percent of products, but it's last on the list so there's less of it in theory. The scent is weird. It's not overpowering to any else, but I smell it and it's weird. It has a medicinal meets car repair garage scent to it. Having said that, the benefits of this super rich, super thick cream makes me overlook the funky scent, and as someone who fancies themselves "sensitive to fragrance", that says a lot. I will say that I've not yet tried it on my face, but it works great for neck (helps hide some of that turkey neck waddle from using tretinoin), elbows, hands, knees, feet, etc.

This stuff worked Great for me!
So, been dealing with hand eczema for about two years. It started from using a commercial antibacterial soap I got from a warehouse club. The soap had an ingredient (can't remember the ingredient name) that apparently my skin did not like! Anyhow tired every lotion and cream I could find. I even got a prescription for a steroid ointment I had used in the past. Stopped using the soap after I figured it out and my hands got better, but still not well. Went to using Cetaphil gentle cleansing soap and it helps but still not well until I found this. Been using it less than a month with the Cetaphil soap and I would say I am 95% well. There is still some deep tissue scarring but I think that will heal over time. Doesn't take much to seal the skin and just keep it on whenever to can and after washing your hands.

Nail saver!!! Thank you!
This product was the only thing that helped and restored my hope that my damaged nail will be able to heal and grow back. I had a severe adverse/allergic reaction to the chemicals used in acrylic nails over 1.5 years ago. Was told by my doctor there’s about a 20% chance of ever getting a thumbnail back. She recommended daily use of this and it has helped significantly. I could see noticeable improvement within a short period of time. It also is sensitive skin friendly. Product is extremely thick and kind of greasy so i recommend applying at bed time.

Cutemol Cream - #1 in My Book!
You can always tell a good cutical and nail cream by it's texture. It should feel waxy to the touch and go on smoothly, leaving a shiny texture to your cuticles and nails for some time after applying. If it soaks into the skin, it's NOT cuticle cream, it's HAND LOTION. My nails are a mess, brittle & dry and my cuticles are even worse. Over the winter the pain from my cuticles ripping and tearing leaves my fingers aching. I had previously tried a cuticle cream that was available from Bath & Body works and it was excellent. It came in a 2oz tub, but they have since discontinued it. I spent a little over a year searching for a good cuticle cream, but most of them contain too much water. A water based cutical cream won't stick like a mostly wax based cutical cream and will soak into the skin. You would think that's what you want, right? Wrong! Actually it's a wax based cutical cream that seals, heals and protects cuticals and nails. Cutemol having two main wax ingrediants does the job well. This is not a fix all, as you will still find your cuticles splitting (if you have dry skin like me) but if you apply a good amount of cutemol every night before bed (wearing "sleep gloves" also helps) this will most definitely heal up a good portion of hang nails, split nails and rough cuticles. I recommend massaging vigorously into your nail bed, using a soft brush if possible. Apply extra cutemol if needed. Massaging the cutemol in deeply helps stimulate skin growth and will also help heal your hands and fingers. I also highly recommend this item for dry feet and heels. I had been using the Burts Bee's foot cream and to be honest this works 10 times better (and costs much less!). Beware! This is NOT HAND CREAM. It is going to go on and stay on looking waxy, and if you are not familiar with cutical cream you may think this is strange. Trust me, a GOOD cuticle cream will need to look and feel that way. All in all this is one of the best products I've tried for the price. Even pricier cuticle creams don't have the same effectiveness and texture as Cutemol. I highly recommend it!

Recommended by Derm and It Works!
This may be too much information, but my feet were so dry my toes and nail nails were starting to peel and crack, despite putting lots and lots of lotion on them, so I thought I had some kind of infection or fungus. At my dermatologist check up for my yearly skin check up, I asked her if she could give me something for my toes because I thought I had an infection. She took one look and said, they are just dry, opened a cabinet of samples and handed me a small tube of this stuff and told me to put it on after I get out of the shower and it will go away. Next day I started using it and within 2 days I saw a major difference, and by the end of the sample tube, zero issues, my feet looked amazing! Bought the larger jar of it to keep using for myself on both my hands and feet and second jar for my husband who is a chef, he is constantly washing his hands and it helps keep them soft. It's totally worth it! It is a really thick lotion, it takes a few minutes to absorb, so if you are looking for something thats going to sink in fast this may not be for you, but it's worth waiting. A little bit goes a long way with this too, so no need to slather it on, a tiny amount will take care of hands and feet. I really can't smell a scent so that wasn't an issue for me.

The absolute best skin cream for very dry skin
This cream last a really long time because it doesn't have any of the garbage alcohols that other skin creams use to stretch their product out. This cream is very thick and a little goes a long way. The best part about this product is that for people that work with their hands - like me or most people - this cream is effective at moisturizing but doesn't make your hands feel like they have lubricant on them leaving you unable to turn doorknobs etc. This cream does not get slippery when wet so you don't have to worry about that as well. While the scent isn't something exciting like vanilla or lavender, it basically smells like lanolin, which is totally acceptable. I have used this for over 10 years now and while it is expensive for the quantity you are buying, it is well worth the money for how effective it is and how long it lasts.

It works
Very expensive cream but if you have extremely dry skin it works. I have had skin issues since severe health problems so it has been great for me. I do not use it everyday just when my skin needs it as it is only the 2nd. Ream I have found works for me.
