BUY THE CRATE; Its much more than I expected.
I read every review on this product and still has doubts about making this purchase online. Previously I purchased a similar crate from Monster Pets priced much more ($149 four paws) for our Italian Mastiff when he was a puppy. The over priced store brought cage served its purpose. He managed to escape from confinement a few times but my husband and I chalked that up to our carelessness. He didn't out grow it but we felt he was trained to the point where confinement was no longer needed. We sold thcage and that was that. Months later we get an American Bulldog puppy. Fully anticipating a 90 pound adult dog in th enot so distant future we feverishly search for a replaca of the cage mentioned above. I looked online and found best pet dog creat and we were certain that this cage would suit my 45 pound puppy well into adulthood. Skeptical but in love with the price ($76 including shipping) we purchased it. It arrived in no time flat (hats off to the seller) AND blew the previous cage out of the water. i admit, it is a bit more cage than she needs now but the features are awesome. The latches have hooks that prevent the intelligent puppy from escaping and most of all my 145 pound mastiff can lay and stand in the cage with great comfort and ease. He did have to duck his head while he sat but its not his cage so its not a concern. In conclusion, my 6 year old son, 45 pound puppy and the Mastiff were all in the cage COMFORTABLY. The hooks on the latch prevented my son from getting out from the inside as well. Buy the create, buy the create, buy the creat

Perfect crate
Great price. Perfect crate. I can imagine that if you had a destructive dog it might not be substantial enough, but if you have a dog that frustrated you need more help than a cage. It is perfect for crate training - my dog goes in it with the door open for naps. The price is so good that you can buy multiples for vacation homes or the homes of parents/kids that you visit often and just ship it there. The box folds flat, so it is easy to store at other locations. Having such a large dog, it is really a life saver for me. Will buy a second one when I visit my son in Virginia next so I don't have to take mine with me. I made a cover for it that matches the media room furniture with flip up sides for the doors, and it looks great. By simply cutting plywood the size of the top and putting the cover over that, I could use it as an end table, too. Saved lots of money over pet store prices - even if I could have found this size in stock there.

AWESOME!
Allow me to say that this crate is huge! For the price this is amazing. I'm 5'6" and I can fit comfortably in this crate. I don't feel guilty leaving my pit bull puppy in here at all. This crate is so large that it will serve him til he's an adult. I know some people complain that it's not strong enough, but if you have a dog that's already trained to stay in a crate calmly then this is excellent. If your dog is going to be hell bent on destroying it then he will get out. But if you have a dog that's trained to be calm in there then this is great. No more do I have to come home and find my brand new leather couch shredded by sharp puppy teeth nor do I have to suffer with chewed shoes. for the average dog with average temperament and average discipline this is good. If you have a poorly trained dog that tried to break out of anything then this may not serve it well. I am highly satisfied!

Supet easy to put together
I was honestly skeptical about it dew to the price. But I chose this 48" or the 42" because it was only a few bucks more.Supet easy to put together. Decent quality. Only have to complaints.First being the walls don't stay together the best at the sides. But I just zipp tied the corners together for extra support and to make sure my dog can't get out. But really minor and not a big deal.Second being its HUGE! like way bigger than I imagined. Its a bit over kill but I have the room and I am sure my dog will appreciate being able to move around some. I have a blue heeler also. This cage is more for a saint benard. My only advice would be to make sure you have the room and need a cage this big. Other than that I would highly recommend this cage. These were very minor problems.Just make sure you need a cage this big because its way bigger than I had Imagined. 👍 I am very pleased.

Nice crate, my only real issue was the tray cracked after several months of my Yorkie pacing back and forth.
Wonderful crate and just the right size for my Yorkie. This gives my Yorkie plenty of room. The bottom try is a thin plastic material and after a few months mine had a crack in it. I ordered a thicker tray for around 20.00 and all is great. My Yorkie likes to pace back and forth so the tray that came with it did not last more than 6 months before a crack appeared. The crate has two doors and each door has two latches. The latches are made so they won't slide open unless you left the up and then slide it open. There have been no issues with rust or durability of the crate itself, the tray could be a little thicker. It is well worth the price.

OK for a crate trained dog
I will preface this by saying that 1 star was removed possibly due to the shipping as there was some bent wires at the bottom but nothing that interfered with the function.I am in rescue so I have a lot of experience with crates, and this one is about as mid quality as it can get. I have used better and worse. The crate comes with 2 doors, one on the side and one on the end. This has advantages and disadvantages at the same time. The side door is slightly smaller height wise by about an inch and half. It's enough for me to notice as it rubs on the back of both newfies and our mastiff mix as they enter and exit. That doesn't occur when they enter or exit from the end door. The latches for the doors provide a positive lock through the use of a bent hook on the sliding part. The construction is slightly lighter, using thinner wires for the vertical wires, than other comparable sized crates, but I've seen thinner. It is enough that I wouldn't trust this with a dog that I don't know about their crate training. A determined dog could get through the wires by bending. It folds exactly as expected for this style crate.

Great value!
Nothing to put together. It was just a matter of unfolding it. Great deal. Couldnt buy a used one this size for under $80. Sturdy. No sharp edges for pup to hurt himself. Great purchase

Value for money
We looked around at various crates and decided on this. Best value I could find for the size. And it's not cheaply built. Same basic build and quality as others that are easily double the price.

Cheap product
Had to zip tie the ends to keep our 6 month old lab in it and he snapped the wires to escape, we used maybe 2 weeks. Not worth it
