These inverter are great! Years ago when I was researching a inverter that would not kill my truck battery if it was forgotten to be switched off. This company is who I found and pretty much all of their products. There is a low voltage protection that cuts the power supply of the inverter if the vehicles voltage gets too low. It's been a life saver many times and serves as a great backup if we forget to switch it off! The customer service is great and if I've ever had any issues with the unit's power cord or the box itself then the company has always responded very well and replaced the device within their warranty period. Just be sure you're paying attention to the output of the devices/chargers you plug into this. There is a power rating of 200w that's should be payed attention to. Highly recommend, great quality, features and customer service!

This was the second unit that I have purchased. I was happy with the first one which lasted about seven years. Hope to get another seven from this one. I have had this small inverter for a year working my solar powered water pump and it handles things well. Would certainly purchase again.

I bought this for a long trip in our car with our 3.5 year old daughter. I knew I would need to keep her electronics, my phone and our GPS all powered up for the trip so one plug for everything wasn't going to work and not all of them had car charging cables. This allowed us to plug everything in and keep it charged as needed. I'm not sure what the noise issue is that some people mentioned. It has a fan that makes a little noise but it's not loud enough to be heard over the running car and road noise. Great product that worked great on our trip.

The item works well for charging cell phones. You can charge cell phones with the unit off(but plugged in of course) via the USB ports. If you actually need the 120v plugs maybe for a laptop you will have to turn the unit on. The fan is always on when the unit is on. And the fan is loud. Let me repeat. The fan is loud. I have not used this for anything other than charging cell phones so I don't know how well it works for anything requiring A/C power. You probably do not want to use this for anything more than say charging a laptop or some other small non-motorized electrical appliance. This is very likely not a pure sine wave converter. Probably a modified or square wave. This means that it does not produce A/C as "clean" as what comes out of our walls. Many appliances will not run on this type of A/C power, even if they fall within the amp limit of your car and this unit. You should be aware of this before purchasing this device. In order to get a pure sine wave from your car like what comes out of our walls you will have to spend around and above $100. If you want to use this for anything other than charging cell phones and laptops you should look up pure sine waves and square waves and see if your appliance/device can be run on square waves. I searched "square wave inverter" on google and the first result appears to have a short list of devices incompatible with modified/square waves.

Very Goods

Great for those who have a lot of electronic gear. I go on multi-day trips photographing, hiking/camping/backpacking and use this to charge my kindle, camera batteries, flashlights, phone, etc., and to power my laptop so that can download my photos and access the internet while on the road. This device really makes these trips much more convenient since I am in the wilderness often and don't always stay at hotels. I chose this particular device because of the wide spacing between the ports, which makes it possible to plug in several bulky adapters and battery chargers at once. The price is great and has saved me a lot of money - the alternative is to would be to buy a bunch more memory cards, li-ion batteries, or rent a hotel room just to charge my devices for the night. The multiple USB ports also mean you can charge several phones at once in addition to your other gear.

Was rather surprised but this is a pretty decent portable inverted especially at this price point. We used it repeatedly on a two week road trip to FL to charge our iphones and android smartphones, ipads, DS consoles and a DVD player with no issues. In particular the USB ports came in quite useful. We did not notice it being overly loud with the road noise and a car of five anyway. I appreciate the compact size of the device yet sufficient space between the plug ports to accept oddly shaped chargers without covering other ports. We were able to run two small devices on the inverter simultaneously with no problems. I'm not sure if that would be the case for two devices which a larger power draw. However for the price this is one pretty handy inverter, especially for road trips.

The product does work as advertised, although this does not have Fast Charge for my Samsung Note 8. The quality feels actually really good for plastic and it looks nice and clean. If it had a car manufacturer's logo on it I would think it was an OEM accessory for the vehicle! The one thing that really annoys me and affects my use of this is the high pitched whine that the internal fan gives off. I have tinnitus and it sounds like having minor tinnitus, ringing in the ears, the entire time you're using it. I unfortunately did not try this out during the 30-day return period with Amazon, as I bought it for a family trip, so by the time I unpacked it to use it was too late. We were able to muffle the sounds by throwing a blanket over it or angling it in such a way as the sound is directed away from our ears. but that kind of ruins the purpose of the cooling fan if you have a blanket over it. Overall it looks great, feels high quality, and works as advertised, but the loud fan is a major downer to an otherwise great product that had all the USB ports and plugs we needed.

I bought this to use on road trips to charge phones and laptops and to charge batteries for cameras which require wall plug-in chargers. Does exactly what I hoped and although there is a little fan noise, it is difficult to hear in a car while driving. Well designed and looks pretty robust so far. The 2.1 A USB ports (2 of) seem to charge as quickly as wall plug-in chargers to for my tablet (Samsung Galaxy Tab S) and phone (LG G4).

Works well. Use it for a breast pump, phone charger and tablet all at the same time daily and hasn't let me down. But that little fan is working!! Hard!!
