Wish I would have waited
I pre ordered the special edition being a huge Madden fan and slightly disliked the 2011 Madden I was rather looking forward to Madden 2012 and its so called improvements. I enjoy the game simply because as said before I am a huge Madden fan, but to pay as much as I did for the special edition was a mistake I cant take back, i would have rather waited for the price to go down. I feel as if the creators made it "newb" friendly online. I could intercepts balls with my eyes closed in this, running the ball is a joke of ease and you can pretty much pick between a few defenses and tear apart offenses. I have played close to 100 games online and just cant seem to keep my interest, and if you think a hundred games is alot, trust me, for as long as it has been out its not. Maybe I'm just lucky and get matched against people who are just not good, overall though I just wasnt satisfied with the game as a whole. Better luck next year.

Madden 12 H.O.F.
Love the game, they have improved on the best selling game yet again. The online multiplayer is better than ever and easier to operate. The Madden Moments Live mode is one of my favorites; playing a few select drives from the previous weeks NFL games to decide a new outcome. They kept adding new games all the way to, and including, the Super Bowl game.

Good game overall.
I like to play both the College game and the Madden game. I like college football better but I think the Madden game is more of a challenge. The fact that you have a draft instead of recruits makes it harder to make an elite team. There are less rediculous defensive plays on the Madden version to. Overall you get what you expect.

Meh.
If you've never owned a Madden game before in your life, then welcome to the world of console football--have a great time.If you've owned a Madden game since the Xbox 360 debuted, then expect more of the same (or less?) in this iteration. The Madden franchise keeps evolving, just not in a constructive way. Rather than adding meaningful features or improving the realism, the primary focus seems to be keeping the cash cow mooing. And not just by selling a new version at full price each year--instead, you can:* Buy a Limited Edition Set with a Collectible cardboard insert! (+$20)* Buy some Legendary players for a new pay-to-play mode! (+$7)* Buy some coins for buying stuff in-game! (+$Limitless)* Buy some more Legendary players! (+$7)* Buy some EA Season Pass! (+$20?)* Buy the right to play online if you rented the game! (+$10?)* Buy some more Legendary players! (+$7)So, it's no shock that the paradigm of EA games is bending toward building revenue after the initial purchase...we all know and expect that nowadays. But it seems like they're literally stripping more and more out of the game in order to make it an add-on that you have to buy. It's getting insulting and just plain silly...or perhaps just ridiculous.A lot of the 'professional' reviewers go into the details of what has been neglected in Madden over the years, and I believe they're actually pretty generous with the provision of an average score of around 7/10. Or maybe I just have a bias since I'm feeling extra-insulted by the blatant mooing of the cash cow throughout the entire game.

No code for the legend players
The game was way overpriced for what it is. There is no difference in the Madden 12 and this edition. The code that is supposed to be in the box for the legend players was not in there nor was the manual for the game. The manual I didn't care about for there is one in the game however the code for the legend players dose piss me off. And the only reason I'm ok with give one star is because the damn game works. ( Not the it was in good condition)

Hall of fame addition not needed
The Madden Ultimate cards were a joke, and easily available without the hall of fame pack. It would have been nice if they actually gave people who paid more for this addition a great advantage. The Faulk signed card was okay, but probably not worth more than a few dollars.

Madden 12 Hall Of Fame
Not much of a difference from the regular game. It came with an Marshall Faulk Players Card, and a code for a special line of Panini Hall of Fame players but you cant trade or Auction them! I'm glad I didn't give over $50 for it.
