All but one of my cats love this little “bed”. I wouldn’t personally call it a bed, it just isn’t plush enough to count as such. It’s more like a small blanket for a cat to lie on. It does seem to get warm quickly and keep them cozy. The one cat that doesn’t like it usually doesn’t like sleeping on strange textures (don’t even think about having a memory foam bed!) It does crinkle slightly, and the feel of the blanket is a little stiff. But my biggest scaredy cat has no problems with it so it’s great for cats, a little weird for humans. Right now I folded the blanket in half to make it a little thicker and it’s in a cardboard box under my bed acting as a nice little sleeping hole for my cat. They’re happy, I’m happy!

What's not to love about a soft, cozy, heat generating cat mat? I have put mine on a little homemade cat bench and all the cats seem to like it and so far no one has puked on it. If you have cats like mine you know just what an achievement that is! Now I would like to have a word with the folks selling this little warming bed/mat..... I am not sure it is good for business that you advertise your bed/mat using a fairly unappealing STUFFED cat. I think if you want folks to purchase your mat you might consider showing a REAL cat curled up in feline ecstasy on it. Am I alone with this point of view? I would be happy to send you pictures to use. That's how much I believe in your product.

I got one for a stray cat that used to visit my garage so he could have a warm place to rest. My indoor cat claimed it before I got a chance to put it out so I had to get a 2nd one. All the cats love it. I've machine washed it quite a few times and is still nice and soft.

My polydactle kitten, Remy, likes to drag things around - paper, rugs, plastic bags. Because he was seriously ill, we keep him in a room by himself at night to be sure he eats his food, and that room can get a little chilly. So for both of these reasons, I bought him this. We had two several years ago for our sick rabbit so I knew it was a good product. Remy likes it. He does drag it around, but he lays on it as well. Now that the weather is warming up a bit, I've brought it out of his room for he and his siblings to enjoy together. They take turns laying on (and under) it. He also drags it around the house. It's easy to clean and very durable. It also matches his cat tree.

Since buying this mat, I had to do some unexpected travel with a cat I'd only had for a few months, which is not ideal. Having something warm and soft that was easy to pack and already smelled like her helped. My cat doesn't like most beds, but she took to this immediately. In addition to giving her somewhere warm to sleep, I like pulling a wand toy under the mat, it's the fastest way to get her interested in playing, and the mat has held up to her pouncing and claws. The mat is definitely effective at warming - I don't like heat, and I once sat on it for a while without thinking, and became uncomfortably warm. It will never burn someone, but don't use it in a carrier or anywhere the animal can't get away, because they could overheat. I'm not a fan of the animal print, but I'm glad I bought it. It's been reassuring to know my cat always has somewhere warm to retreat to in drafty homes.

After reading some of the enthusiastic reviews of this I thought I'd order a couple to help our cats through the winter. We have five cats. I ordered two mats, to start, and figured I get more if the cats liked them. I was surprised, after the positive reviews, that our cats do NOT these mats.. They hate the soft spotted side, especially. That's OK with me because it's immensely ugly; and the ones I ordered are not actually gray, the color it said, but much more blue, which doesn't fit with any of our decor. The "back" side is black, which is fine, and a very different material, slightly nubby. One of the five cats has started to lie on the mat, on the black side, where I have it at the foot of our bed. The other mat is one of our dining room chairs (covering a cushion on which we don't want to get cat hair). The cat who normally sits on that chair during the day has only now, after several days, reluctantly come back to the chair with the mat on it. It may help some if I take the mat covers off and wash them. Among other things, I'm pretty sure the cats don't like how these things smell, or the smell is foreign to them and they are not quick to adapting to it. Had I saved the packaging I would have returned both of these mats. They've been pretty much a waste of money, and, as I said, I think they're really ugly.

I could not rate this item on "warmth" since I don't use it for me - it's for my kitties. I have bought several of these mats through the years and all the kitties I've ever had LOVE 'EM. My kitties have a tendency to nap where ever they want - not necessarily where I want so I put these mats down on chairs, sofas, benches where ever I know they will eventually nap and when we have visitors it is no big deal to pick them up and the kitty hair is on the mat and not the furniture. These are easy to vacuum to remove kitty hair and toss in the washer and dry on low and you have clean mats in nothing flat. I just wish these came is different sizes since I have some small round stools that I have to constantly arrange the mat since the kitties can pull them off but otherwise I would recommend them to everyone with a kitty. I'm sure they would work for dogs but I have kitties. I have even given these as gifts to my friends kitties. If you kitties are not as spoiled as mine they might even share but since I always have at least three kitties at the same time I have to have enough to go around. Hope you enjoy them as much as our home enjoys them.

My cat love it very warm and soft and easy to clean

My older senior cat likes sleeping on this. I have it on a couch that is near our fireplace. He sleeps in that spot all of the time anyways, so I placed it there to maybe help him hold the heat. He didn't seem offput by the slight crinkly sound. I can't say for sure if he prefers it because it keeps him warmer, but he does sleep on it. He likes to sit on the heat registers, so maybe he would prefer the blankets that have a heating pads in them, who knows. It vacuums up easily to get hair off and I've washed it with no issues. I will see if he shifts his sleeping patters as the weather gets warmer, or if he continues to sleep on it. I would recommend for the price.

The product itself seems good and does have a polyester sherpa on the bottom. I removed stars not for the product itself but for whomever has been packing the item oA Amazon. I have placed this order twice now ordering the grey and receiving the blue one. Yes TWICE shipped the wrong colour. Amazingly I am hoping 3 times is a charm…. If you’re not particular about the colour, lucky you!

It’s a really nice product. I bought 2 to cover the top of comfy chairs she likes to sit upon and leave her fur behind. The other side of the fur is a slippery material. Constantly fell off chairs. So I cut the slippery material off completely. Looks much better, form fitting to chair and does not slip off. Only problem…she’s not taking to it. 🙄 I need to edit. See photo…finally!!! Diva.
