Corelle Coordinates Abundance Melamine Spoon Rest Looks great on the stove or hanging on the wall. I got three in different patterns. Fits everything from a tea spoon to a wooden spoon. The durable melamine is not likely to break if it drops on the floor. Ceramics and even Corelle are subject to breakage if dropped. Lightweight and lovely to look at. Keep it away from open flame and hot range elements. Unlike ceramics and Corelle, it is subject to discoloration and even melting under high heat conditions. An inexpensive accent for a functional kitchen. UPDATE FOLLOWS: I've had them a year and a half now. They regularly go through the dishwasher yet still look great on my wall. I absolutely love them. A great buy. Did I mention you can drop them (I now know from experience) and they don't break!!!! A real plus for me.

This spoon rest matches my Shadow Iris corelke set.. working on the accessorie piece so I have all of them.. this spoon rest was a great find and very nicely priced!.. looks nice in the kitchen!

This does feel more plastic than the material the seller says its made out of. I had smooth shipping! No delays or broken pieces(surprise!!) This is totally cute in person. Looks just like it does in the pictures! No reason you shouldn't buy this item. Its cheap and cute! I am MORE than positive that it will do its intended job.

I really like this spoon holder, it makes cleaning up after cooking much easier than it used to be. It appears to be made of a strong plastic and I would say it's pretty solid. It holds up just fine in the dishwasher- I have already put it in there at least 5 times with no ill effect on it. The only downfall to this spoon holder is that the actual indents for the spoon are rather shallow and therefore you have to balance the spoon on the bridge (see photos for what I mean by that). I personally like that because it keeps the spoon part from actually touching anything and saves you the mess/contamination but my husband does not like this because he has to gently set the spoon down and balance it before he can move on to doing something else and he just wants to be able to set it down easily. It takes me maybe 1 extra second to set it down the right way though. To each their own I suppose :)

My old spoon rest was getting pretty old and so I decided to look on amazon for a new one; I found this one and although it's a bit larger than the old one, it also holds my spatula better because it is bigger. It will hold two spoons or a spoon and spatula without any trouble. I love the design, and may get some glasses also. Check the size, because it my be a little large for the space you have committed to your spoon rest, but other than that I think you will be pleased as I was.

It looks nice, it matches my Corelle set, but it is HUGE. I placed it between my two back burners, and there is like half an inch clearance on either side. I'd be afraid to use the back burners without removing it from the stove first (note, it is plastic, not Corelle "material") for fear of it melting. It is fairly solid for plastic, seems easy to clean, and it does serve its purpose... I just wish it was a bit smaller!

This spoon rest is melamine so it won't break like glass. One of the best features is the depth; great for big spoons. I selected this item for my French Country Kitchen and the color is perfect. I wouldn't recommend using it in the dishwasher unless it's on the top rack only. Nevertheless, I would recommend this product.

I'm so excited to have everything match in the kitchen. From my dinnerware, to glasses and now the spoon holder! It seems pretty durable, but I just received them yesterday and haven't had a good chance to give it a try. But for the price, if it lasts a year, I have gotten my money's worth! I just love it!

I was expecting ceramic when I bought this and was surprised to find that it was plastic. Although ceramic is nice, I think the plastic will prove better, as my last ceramic one got broken from being dropped. It is a very thick plastic so it doesn't feel cheaply made.

Can be used in dinners too for spoons and forks

Product was thin plastic, and looked a bit cheaper than I was anticipating.
